Leah ran in the house and ran straight to the bathroom "mommy" Mackenzie mumbled following her to the bathroom. Leah closed the door crying and touched her face gently.
"Got damn it" she cried out Michael punched her hard enough for her face to start bleeding "fuck' she cried pressing down hard trying to see if blood will ooze out.
Lucas opened the door and made Leah jumped.
"Baby" He gasped holding his hands out"your fucking face-" he stopped in mid sentence and stormed out the bathroom and ran up the stairs. Leah followed behind him "LUCAS WHAT ARE YOU DOING ? She asked him racing up the stairs "WHERE THE FUCK IS MY GUN ?" He yelled throwing things in the room around "LEAH WHERE THE FUCK IS MY GUN ?" He asked her still throwing stuff around in the room. "WHERE IS IT LEAH THE FUCK ?"
"I DON'T KNOW" She yelled holding her arm. He stopped and looked at her face again "I SWEAR TO GOD I'M GOING TO FUCKING KILL HIM MATTER OF FACT" He stormed out the room and down the stairs. Leah followed behind him and they both walked outside "WHERE THE FUCK DID HE GO ?" Lucas yelled.
"LUCAS STOP" Leah yelled
"NAH FUCK THAT WHERE THE FUCK DID HE GO ?" He yelled punching the door.
Ashley rushed outside and looked at them as they argued "did this boy just punched my door ?" she asked Leah.
Leah ignored her and focused on Lucas throwing a fit.
"Leah on me I'm going to fucking kill him" he said trying to calm down but looking at Leah's face pissed him off again "I SWEAR-WHERE THE FUCK DID HE GO ?" He asked Ashley
"HE LEFT LUCAS MY GOD"
"AND YOU JUST LET HIM GO ?" He asked with a confused expression
"HE'S A FUCKING COP LUCAS" She yelled
Leah turned and looked at Ashley "no he isn't" she said mugging her. "He is, he showed me his badge and everything"
Leah rolled her eyes and Lucas grabbed her and forced her into a hug. "I swear to you baby he will never be able to touch you again not if I'm around, do you hear me ?" he asked her. Leah nodded her head and looked at him he grabbed her face and lowkey almost cried.
"Man baby what the fuck ?" He asked bringing her in for another hug "I just want to kill him"
"You can't kill a cop" Leah said rubbing his back
"I wish I shot him and not that other guy" He said letting her go.
Leah looked down and walked in the house she continued to look down until she got in the bathroom because she didn't want Jamarcus and Mackenzie to see her face. She cleaned her face off and sighed to herself "at least I'm recognizable this time" she said to herself trying to stop the tears from coming down her face. Lucas walked in the bathroom and looked at her. Leah looked at him and started breaking down.
"No no no no no baby" He said trying to hug her
"No don't touch me" she cried pushing him "I'm so fucking pissed at Jamarcus how could he do this to me ? how could he do this to us ? we've been on the run for so damn long HOW COULD HE DO THIS ?" She cried sitting on the toilet putting her hands on her forehead.
Baby I know you're mad-"
"I'M FUCKING PISSED" She yelled slamming her fist in her hand "DID YOU SEE MY FUCKING FACE ?" she yelled standing up pointing to her face. "I HAVEN'T LOOKED LIKE THAT IN SO LONG I-"
"CALM DOWN" Lucas yelled trying to grab her
"I SAID DON'T FUCKING TOUCH ME" She yelled punching him in his arms
"Leah" Lucas said calmly still trying to grab her
"LUCAS DON'T FUCKING TOUCH ME" She screamed
Ashley knocked on the bathroom door "is everything ok ?"
"We're good she's having a nervous breakdown"Lucas said
"I'M FUCKING HURT" Leah yelled at Lucas
"I know you're hurt Leah I believe you I never said you weren't you're honestly allowed to feel the way you feel baby" he said slowly approaching her so he can just hold her. He reached his hand out to grab her.
"Lucas I SAID DON'T FUCKING TOUCH ME" She yelled smacking him in his face and punching him in his chest
He took every hit and grabbed her arm and rushed her into a hug.
"NO GET OFF OF ME" She yelled crying her eye out
"Shhh baby" He said holding her but she kept trying to fight him off the only thing he could do was bear hug her
"Lucas please" She cried out but Lucas held on "Lucas" she cried in his chest and gently punched his arm. "I hate this" She cried making lucas cry.
"You know Leah you are a strong ass woman, I knew that when I first met you outside of our old apartment building. I looked at you and tried my hardest not to fall for you but I did. You're everything I've ever imagined without you I would've became a alcoholic and a drug addict. You saved me Leah, you helped me see life from a different point of view." He looked at leah and let a few tears run down his face "let me save you, tell me what you want to do, where do you want to go ? we can leave today.I don't care as long as I'm with you Jamarcus and Mackenzie I don't give a fuck."
Leah wiped his tears and sniffled "your business-"
"I care about y'all more than I care about my business baby I can always start fresh somewhere"He said rubbing her back.
"Ok" Leah said holding him tight and crying "ugh I'm so tired of crying" she said to herself.
Lucas kissed her "I love you so much Leah its crazy"
"I love you too" She kissed him and just held on to him until they both were ready to let go.
