"Mommy why did grandma say that stuff to you ?" Jamarcus asked
"I don't know babe but, once we get home I need you in the shower and in bed do you hear me ?" Leah said focusing on the road
"Yes" he said dryly
Lucas looked at leah and twisted his lips "we don't have to talk now but we'll definitely talk later"
Leah nodded her head and got into the turning lane
"Mackenzie stop" Jamarcus whined "Mackenzie leave it alone" he whined again "Mackenzie STOP" He yelled
"JAMARCUS AND MACKENZIE STOP IT RIGHT NOW" Leah yelled looking through her rearview mirror.
"Y'all knock it off y'all mom isn't feeling good" lucas turned around and said
"But mackenzie keeps touching my seatbelt" he whined
"Jamarcus-" leah was starting off but lucas cut her off
"Leah just drive please stop" Lucas said trying to reason with her
"I do not need you to tell me what to do" she said mugging him and the road
"I'm trying to help you baby you're stressed-"
"LUCAS" she yelled cutting him off.
"STOP YELLING AT ME IF I'M TALKING TO YOU AND TRYING TO HELP YOU LIKE CHILL OUT I AIN'T DO SHIT TO YOU" He yelled clenching his jaw and mugging.
Leah looked at him and lowkey got turned on "okay" she said looking back at the road. Lucas looked at her and grinned cause he could tell her nasty ass liked the way he yelled. They pulled up to the apartment complex and Leah got Mackenzie out the car. Lucas got everything out the car and they all walked in.
She carried Mackenzie into her room and took her stuff off.
"Mommy can I use some lotion ?"
"You need more ?" she asked handing him hers
"Yes and deodorant" he said walking away
"WHO TOLD YOU, YOU NEEDED DEODORANT ?" She yelled
"GRANDMA"
Leah rolled her eyes and prepared Mackenzie for her bath. Lucas walked in and tickled Mackenzie, Mackenzie laughed and started playing with Lucas. Leah got up and walked away"you give her a bath then." Lucas sighed and picked up Mackenzie
"Leah I'm not the bad guy here" He said walking in the bathroom
Leah ignored him and laid on the bed lucas bathed Mackenzie and clothed her. He put her to bed and turned everything off in the house.
Leah walked in the bathroom and started the water for her shower.
''So you wanna talk before or after the shower ?" lucas asked her picking up her dirty clothes
"How bout when I wake up ?" she asked putting her head under the water
"We agreed to talk about it when we got home"
"Well I changed my mind" she said forming tears
Lucas moved the curtains and locked eyes with her "what ?" her voice cracked and she put her head down. "Talk to me" he said picking her head up. "Lucas I really don't want to do this right now" she said sniffling.
"I am not going to let you go to bed feeling like this " he said leaning on the wall "you're allowed to feel the way you feel but talk with me through it baby"
