Leah's brace was finally off; they were still staying in the hotel, but Leah was now three months pregnant, and her belly was showing a little. She's still staying out of the way because she can feel it in her gut. Michael is looking for her. She started a work-from-home job with excellent pay. Lucas started his business back up; Leah and Lucas are always busy; they never have time for each other. Until today Leah took off because she has a doctor's appointment, and Lucas wants to be there, so of course, he's coming.
"You doing okay, baby?" Lucas asked, grabbing her hand.
"Yeah, just nervous," She said, looking around. "I feel a little anxious too. I wish they'd hurry up," she added, rocking back and forth.
Lucas rubbed his thumb on her hand and kissed her hand. "It'll be all over soon, baby, I promise, and you're okay."
"I hope so; she said, placing her hand on her stomach.
"Sorry for the wait, so baby is fine," the doctor said, looking at the paperwork. "Everything came back absolutely normal; your baby is fine and is growing healthier every day," the doctor said. "You've also made successful healing; I'm glad to see you without the brace. She added
"Yeah, me too; I was so tired of it" Leah chuckled
"Yeah, I bet," the doctor chuckled, "so here are your pictures; you can see where your baby is growing"
"Thank you," Lucas said, smiling at Leah.
"Of course, that is all I need from you lovely people; you are now free to go, mama," the doctor said.
"Great, thank you so much," Leah said, getting off the table.
They made their way out of the doctor's office. "I think the baby is hungry," Leah said, smiling at Lucas. "I wanted to show you the house." He said, opening the door for Leah. "What house?" she asked, confused, getting in the car.
"You know the house, babe," he said, starting the car laughing. Leah mugged him and chuckled "can I get food first? I know you're hungry too," she asked.
"Where do you want to eat at?"
"I would kill for some damn shrimp, like carry out from Johnny's," She said, licking her lips. " ight, baby, I got you."
Lucas changed the address and drove to the carryout. "Call the carryout and order the food," Lucas said, looking at the GPS. "Okay, can I use your phone?" she asked, holding her hand out.
"Where's yours?" Lucas asked
"In my purse on the back seat, let me use yours," she said, still holding her hand out.
"You can't get it?" he asked, focusing on the road.
Leah stared at him and chuckled, and started to smirk. "Lucas, I'll throat punch the fuck outta you right now; please don't play with me."
"Why?" He asked, mugging and chuckling
"Why can't I use your phone, Lucas? What the fuck are you doing on your phone Lucas?" she asked, getting irritated.
"Leah-"
"No. WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING ON YOUR PHONE?" She yelled, starting to clench her jaws
"STOP FUCKING YELLING AT ME" Lucas yelled, stopping at a red light and looking at her.
"What are you doing on your phone Lucas? Why can't I see your phone?" she asked.
Lucas ignored her and focused on driving. Leah started breathing heavily and forming tears. " For the sake of my baby, I need you to tell me what the fuck are you doing on your fucking phone Lucas; why can't I see it?" But, again, he ignored her, and Leah took a deep breath and sat back. "Take me home; I wanna go home," she said.
"Why?" he asked, staring at her.
"Because your fucking cheating on me, why can't I use your phone, Lucas?" she sat up. "You are hiding your other bitch; tell that bitch I'd smack the fuck out that hoe stop playing so much."
"There is no other bitch, Leah; calm the fuck down." he calmly spoke.
"THEN GIVE ME YOUR FUCKING PHONE" She yelled.
"You don't trust me? you think I'm out here doing lame nigga shit like I don't prove how much I love you every day and every hour, so you won' forget?" He said, focusing on the road. "No, you cannot get my phone, Leah."
"Bet." Leah said, bouncing her leg and staring out the window "take me the fuck home now."
Lucas changed the address and drove her home. Leah continued to bounce her leg the whole way there; she started angrily crying and bawling her fist. Finally, they pulled up to the hotel, and Leah immediately got out; Leah didn't even wait for Lucas. Instead, walking into the elevator, she stood there wiping her tears. Finally, Leah got off the elevator and stormed into the room. Grabbing her car keys, she quickly started packing her and the kid's things.
"MAN LEAH WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING?" He asked yelling
"SHUT YOUR ASS UP NIGGA DON'T FUCKING TALK TO ME, TALK TO YOUR OTHER BITCH" She said, throwing her stuff in a bag.
Lucas grabbed her bag from her hand, threw it on the bed, and got in her face. "I'm only going to tell you this one time, and one time only, there is no other bitch, Leah; you're not leaving me because of your assumptions, and stop talking to me like that cause I can't talk to you; like that."
Leah pushed him "then why the fuck can't I see your shitty ass phone?"
"Don't put your hands on me."
"Why can't I see your phone, Lucas? I will ask you one more time," she said, slamming her fist in her hand.
"Here," he said, throwing the phone on the bed. Leah stared at him "you wanted to see it; there you go. Tell me what the fuck you find since apparently, you don't trust me."
"Oh, shut the fuck up, Lucas; you ignored me when I asked you in the car, don't fucking play those games with me." She said, looking for her slides. "You are making up assumptions, Leah, I'm not feeding into that, and you know that you didn't even for a second think, "hmm, maybe his phone is dead?" he said, mugging her.
Leah picked up his phone and saw it was dead. She pressed the locked button to make sure he wasn't lying. "So why didn't you answer me when I asked you?" she said, mugging him. "Because I'm not feeding into that assumption shit, and you know that, Leah."
Leah looked at him and turned her lips, "I did too much, and I apologize, but you have to understand where I'm coming from, Lucas; you ignored me when you could've told me your phone was dead."
"I could've you right, and I'm sorry cause I could've cleared that up." He said, unpacking her bag. "I'm sorry for pushing you," she said, hugging him. "I don't like when I get that angry, and I didn't mean to put my hands on you. I didn't like you in my face, so it was more like self-defense."
"One thing I'm not going to do is yell at or with you, and you know that we'll talk like adults unless it's something serious, baby; I would never put my hands on you or hurt you," he said, rubbing her back.
