On Our Way

Veronica’s POV

I woke up to a loud ding coming from the main bus and rolled my eyes. I slowly rolled myself out of my bunker and walked to the couch. I plopped down and took my phone off the charger to see a message. It was from Matty:

Hey Love :) I haven’t seen my best friend in ages what is going on with you. We should hang out today x

Hey Matty, I know it’s been a while. The girls and I are moving our stuff from our tour bus into our new house since the tour is over. Pretty boring stuff

He texted back almost immediately which I smiled at. I hadn’t seen Matty in a while since we had both been on tour but now we could hang since our tours were over.

That sounds boring but we can make it fun. The boys can come and help then after we can just chill. I know George wants to see you (don’t tell him I told you that ). x

George and I had a thing a few months back before the tour but we decided to end it seeing as we were both going on tour. I don’t know what's going on with that, but I wasn’t the type of girl to stress over boys because I didn’t really give a shit.

Yea sounds fun it’s right off the highway right on the beach you can’t miss it. Our tour bus will be in the driveway, if you don’t find it then just call me.

I put the phone down and went to get ready. I quickly showered and brushed my teeth. Looking through my suitcase I pulled out my most comfortable ripped boyfriend jeans and paired it with my black vans and a cropped black crewneck. My hair wasn’t cooperating so I just put on a baseball cap backwards, put on some sunglasses, and went on my way. The girls were already dressed so we packed up everything and I ended up driving since I was the only one not hungover.

Matty’s POV

I finished texting Vern and smiled. I missed her she was unlike any girl and thats why I loved being her friend. I walked over and sat on the couch by the boys.

“Do you guys wanna go help Vern and the rest of the girls unpack their tour bus into their new house later?” I asked

Adam and Ross just agreed with a series of nods and murmurs. George on the other hand hadn’t said anything. I knew he wanted to he was always talking about her or looking at her pictures on twitter and instagram.

“George, are you gonna come” taking him out of his trance

“Yea yea, lets just go get ready” he said getting up and going to the shower

Since I showered last night I just got dressed putting on a white muscle with my black ripped jeans and my black chelsea boots. I grabbed my sunglasses, phone, and called the rest of the guys. We all hopped in the car and I couldn’t help but notice that George dressed a better than he usually does. I smirked thinking about him and Vern. They would be perfect for each other I definitely was gonna push them together.

Jesse’s POV

I was anxiously waiting for Vern to text me, Zach was a little more calm about Bailey not texting him or anything yet. I spoke too soon because right then I get a text from Vern:

Hey, It’s Vern.

Hey, What’s up!

Nothing much, just moving our things into our new house.

Oh, I was going to see if you’d like to hang out today?

Sure, if that mean you wanna help us unpack! jk lol.

I’m up for anything, we can put the boys to work ;)

Really??

Yeah! why not! see you soon!

I was actually really happy to see her even though we were just helping them move and unpack.

“Zeeko!!” I yelled excitedly

“We’re hanging out with Vern and Bailey. Well actually we’re helping them unpack and move.”

“Sounds cool to me.” Zach said.

I threw on some black jeans, a plain white t-shirt, my leather jacket, and some black and white vans, then I styled my hair up the way I usually did, and texted Vern that Zach and I were on our way.

George’s POV

Matty pulled off the highway and turned onto a street. We saw a huge beach house with a tour bus in the driveway. We assumed that was the house and parked. I looked out the window to see Vern struggling with a couple boxes so I hopped out the truck to help her

“Here let me” I said and I grabbed the boxes

She turned around, squealed and pulled me into a hug. I set the boxes down and hug her back.

“Oh my gosh, it’s been a while huh?!” she says. I can’t help but smile shes adorable

“VERN!” I hear screamed coming from Matty. She screams and runs toward him jumping into a hug, legs wrapped around his waist. I feel a pang of jealousy then stop realizing they’re just really great friends.

“I haven’t seen you in forever WHAT THE HELL!!” she screams. She goes over to hug Adam and Ross getting into a short conversation with him

As they talk we hear three girls chatting as they walk outside. They look a little confused until Vern waves them over.

“Guys these are my bandmates Bailey, Lena and Natalie, and girls this is Matty, George, Adam, and Ross swiftly pointing us all out. There are a bunch of hellos and smiles until we start to unpack. We see a car pulling into the driveway, I wonder who it is…..
