Party Favor

Third Person POV

They were all sitting around the table eating pizza and laughing when Vern’s phone rang. She excused herself and answered the call. After a few minutes Vern came back expressionless.

“Who was it Vern” Bailey asked

“Just Meghan telling us we have a meet and greet tomorrow and Coachella next weekend” she replies

“Oh ok what time is the meet”

“Like 3 and its close so we won’t have to leave until like 2:30”

“Cool” Bailey says and gets up to clean up the mess from the pizza. Zach gets up to help her.

“So V whens the party?” Matty asks

“What the hell are you talking about Matty” Vern replies and rolls her eyes

“You have to throw a housewarming party!!” He exclaims

“No”

“Yes”

“No Matty”

“Yes V”

“No Matthew”

“Yes Veronica”

“Ugh fine”. Veronica glared at him and went on her contacts to invite people. Since her band was so popular she was friends with everyone you could ever imagine and she had everyones number.

The boys of both groups decided to go home to shower and change, and everyone said goodbye to each other. Once the girls had finished cleaning up they all went their separate ways getting ready for the party.

Vern’s POV

I walked up to my room and sighed when I saw all my boxes. It was gonna take me forever to pick out an outfit. I walked over out the box labeled “bottoms” and decided to go with a leather mini-skirt and walked over to the box labeled “tops”. I grab a white and black speckled crop top and a faux fur jacket. I pull on some black knee high socks and my black chelsea boots with the heel. I put on my tattoo and pendant choker along with a couple bracelets. I sit down to do my makeup doing a light eye look with bold burgundy lips and defined cheekbones. I scrunch my hair giving it some light waves. I look in the mirror and once again don’t feel anything. I’m not impressed.

I walk downstairs to see only Bailey setting up. “You look nice” I said to her. She had on a light pink off the shoulder crop top with high waisted black skinny jeans and light pink heels. “Thanks” she replied.

I asked her where Lena and Natalie were, apparently Natalie went to hang with her boyfriend and Lena went clubbing with her old high school friends. I rolled my eyes, I actually hated Lena sometimes but I just let it slide. Her breakup changed her. I pulled out all of the drinks and snack and started organizing them on the table when I hear the doorbell. My eyebrows furrow and I go to get the door. The party started at 10 and it was only 8:30.

I open the door to see George with a cheeky grin on his face. I can’t help but smile. He has a bunch of party favors in his hand and I thank him. I put them on the table.

“Why are you here so early? where's Matty?” I asked

“Just wanted to come and help out, he'll be here a little later” he says and kisses my cheek. I smile and go back to organizing the food and drinks with George's help.

Bailey POV

The entire hour before the party George was hardcore flirting with Vern and she didn’t even notice. I couldn’t help but laugh at her. Every other minute he’d mess up her hair or hip bump her and she’d just laugh and push him like they were brother and sister. I’m starting to think she’s missing a part of her brain. It’s 9:45 and I hear the doorbell ring. I open the door to see Zach, Jesse, Bryan, Jeremy, and Mikey with his girlfriend Lauren. She looked adorable. I smile and let them in stopping Zach for a quick kiss before anyone sees. he was so cute I couldn’t resist. We all sat down and wait for the guests to arrive, and I couldn't help but notice Jesse and George giving each other death stares....
