F22: The Kiss

Jennie didn't know how many days passed again before she woke up, all she knew was she's still in pain because of the broken ribs and she's sweating excessively right now. She could move now but it still hurts.

"Drink this." Lisa gave her a goblet with a red liquid in it.

Jennie furrowed her eyebrows as she looked at her with pure confusion but Lisa just rolled her eyes.

"Okay fine," Jennie said and immediately drank it until the last drop. It wasn't blood, more likely a wine? It tastes weird for her.

Jennie scanned the whole room and saw V sleeping peacefully on the opposite side of her which made her smile a little. He was hugging a throw pillow and she could tell that he was not comfortable in his position.

"He stayed up all night because I was busy. He looked after you and took care of you while I was away," Lisa said as she wiped the sweat on Jennie's face.

Jennie stared at V's innocent and emotionless sleeping face and was mesmerized again by his visual. She should always keep in mind what Carlisle told her. Don't be fooled by his appearance and don't trust his actions easily.

"Stop staring, he's awake," Lisa muttered so Jennie looked at somewhere immediately causing Lisa to burst out laughing. Was she making fun of her?

"You still love him, don't you?" Jennie was taken aback by Lisa's question. "You know what I think, you're still angry about what he did to your father and you wanted revenge for him that's why you're doing this but you're confused," she concluded.

"Stop making conclusions, let's practice." Jennie stood up and held Lisa's hand as they headed out. Many people smiled at her making her smiled back. They were happy because she was okay now and their ticket to west woods was safe.

"Are you sure you're okay? Leiji told me not to force you," Lisa worriedly said causing her to chuckle a bit.

Jennie didn't know Leiji was still concerned, it looked like he didn't care about her at all these past few days. She just decided to go back and sat on the bed and stared at V's gorgeous face. When he would wake up? She wanted to talk to him.

"I'm awake," he abruptly said making her startled. He looked at her with his dull eyes and gently rubbed it as he sat on his bed. "I'm sorry. I was too harsh. I didn't know you're too weak," he sarcastically said making her scoffed.

"And you think you're strong enough? Not because you're the god of wolves doesn't mean no one can beat you," Jennie informed him.

"Leiji called me, please don't fight. It's not d-day yet." Lisa went out of the room.

Jennie was about to say something when V suddenly pulled Jennie causing her to shriek. She was now on top of him while his hands were on her waist. He was wearing his poker face as he looked at her in the eyes intently.

"How can someone be this gorgeous?" he muttered as he cupped her cheeks, pulling her into a kiss.

Jennie felt his lips on hers but she didn't respond. She wanted to break the kiss but he was too strong. His hand was on her nape pulling her to deepen it. He slowly bit her lower lip causing her to slightly open her mouth and he immediately slid his tongue in it.

She loses again, to his touch, hugs, and kisses. She loses to his actions. She misses every inch of him. His scent, his vibrance, and his alluring presence. She wanted to just go with the flow but this was not the right time. Maybe he was just doing this, for her not to kill him or maybe to tame her?

"Uh? Hello?" Jennie immediately pulled herself away when she heard Lisa's voice. She was with Leiji right now, standing in front of us.

Jennie could feel her face turning red which led her to face the floor as she played her fingers out of nervousness. That was so embarrassing. They saw them kissing and the worse part was she's on V's top.

"You're too aggressive for an 18-year-old, Nini." Leiji scolded her before turning to V. "And who do you think you are to kiss our legendary wolf?"

V scanned the whole room before looking at Leiji again as he pointed himself. "Me?"

Leiji's aura turned to dark as he clenched his jaw. V flashed his famous smirked and chuckled a bit.

"She's no one's mate, she's single and she's gorgeous. I like her." When V said the last phrase Leiji's fist landed on his face.

Jennie's eyes widened when she saw blood on V's lips but still, he was smirking. He looked at Leiji who was burning in rage and ready to punch him again but Lisa stopped him.

"She's my mate!" Leiji shouted in rage but V knitted his brows.

"She was your mate, I was there when you rejected her so stop acting like you actually care about her," V emphasized the word 'was'.

Jennie didn't know what to react to right now, they were fighting because of her and she didn't like what she saw.

"She will never choose you, especially when she found out what you did to her father."

Leiji's words hit her like a truck. The thought of her father's death enrages her. What did he do to her father?

"I've got no time for this stupid fight, let's go Lisa."
