What About Us?

Part 6

Ashley opens her eyes and sees Chris sleeping with his arms wrapped around her. She smiles and kisses his nose and says as she gently touches his chin. "Wake up, babe."

He opens his eyes slowly and she smiles and says as she has both of her hands under her cheek. "Hey."

He kisses her head and she closes her eyes and he says as he holds her a bit longer. 'Hey lovely bride, today is the big day."

She smiles and says as she looks into her sleepy eyes. "It sure is, you ready for it?"

He sighs and says. "Hmmm, I think so." He says as he looks into her eyes. 'What about you? I mean do you feel cold feet?" She moves her feet and says as she smiles. "Your feet are warm so, I am okay."

Chris sits up and says with a laugh. "I meant about marrying me, love."

Ash looks at him as he stands up and walks into the kitchen. She says as she sits up. "I think I am okay, darling, I mean I am marrying you!!"

Chris looks at her and she walks to him and he sets his coffee down and wraps his arms around her and says as he looks at her face. "Did I ever say how beautiful you look in the morning?"

She smiles and says as she tilts her head to the right. "I can't hear it enough."

He smiles and someone knocks on their door and Chris looks at the door and his dog starts barking and her dog pipes in barking.

They walk into the living room and Ash picks up her dog and Chris says to his dog. "Hey, sh."

Chris opens the door and kate says as she is holding some flowers and the wedding dress. "Oh, Chris, hey um...Why are you here?"

Ash says as she walks to Chris and hugs his arm. "Because he is living here?"

Kate smiles and says. "Duh, I know that but, shouldn't you be at the venue waiting for her?" 

Kate walks In and says. "It's bad luck to see the Bride before the wedding."

Chris says as he shuts the door. "I wanted to see her, and I don't think it is bad luck to see her face in the morning."

Kate sets her things down and says. "Ash, we have work to do!"

She runs into the bedroom and Chris looks at Ash and says in her ear. "I think she is happier about this than us."

Ash smiles and says as she holds his hand. "Yeah think?!"

Chris smiles and then Kate runs out and says. "Ugh..get a room you two!"

She sets the makeup out and says as she looks at Ash. "Come on we have to get you ready," Chris says. "I'm going to get going, see you in a few hours." he kisses Ashley and she hugs him and he rubs her back saying in her ear "I love you, Mrs.Evans."

She looks at him and says. "And I love you. Mr. Evans."

He walks out and Kate says behind Ashley. "Hey, You okay?" Ash sits down and says as Kate works on her hair. "I have to tell you something."

Kate says as she curls Ash's hair. "Okay?"

Ash says. "You remember when I passed out and My brother said it was just stress?" Kate says as she clips Ash's hair a bit. "hmm..Yeah, why?"

Ash takes a deep breath and says. "He was doing what I told him to say to you guys, I have been thinking of how to tell you guys."

Kate says as she steps back. "Okay, Get in your dress girl, and yeah I get it what's going on with you?"

Ash stands up and looks at her friend right in the eyes and says. "I'm Pregnant."

Kate's jaw drops and says. "WHAT!???" She covers her mouth and gets tears and then says quick. "Is it Chris's?"
