Ashley wakes up the next day, and she sees dodger sleeping at the foot of the bed. She sits up and gets a text, and she looks at her phone and reads the message.

Hello Ash, I hope you are well this morning; I was thinking of you and your brother; I wondered if we three would go to a cafe and catch up. Have a wonderful day, Love. Dad.

Ashley gets out of bed, and Dodger wakes up and looks at her. She smiles at the dog and says. "It's okay, bub, just going to get ready for work." She walks into the bathroom and grabs her scrubs, and she grabs her makeup bag and gets her hair done.

Chris walks into the bedroom, and Ash hears him talking to dodger, and Michelle starts barking at him. Ash slowly peeks her head out and smiles when he is playing with her puppy. He says. "Where's mommy, hmm?"

Ash smiles and says as she bites her lip. "She's getting ready for work." Chris looks at her and says. "Morning, wife." She smiles and says he walks to her. "Morning, Husband."

He gives her a gentle kiss and says as he rubs her arms. "How did you sleep?" She says as she smiles at him. "Um, I think your arms were around me, my head on your chest. Kind of crazy question, honey."

Chris laughs and says. "Mrs. Evans, you know what I meant." She laughs and says. "Yes, Mister Evans, I do!"

She walks away and grabs her phone, saying. "I got a message from John; He wants to meet up with Jake and me later." She looks at Chris, and he says as he sits on the bed. "Nothing from Stan?" She looks at her phone and says. "Hmm...Nope."

Chris says. "I think that's a good thing; if he does text you, I need you to tell me, got it?" She nods and says as she looks at Chris. "I don't know why he would do this; he knows I am married, and I haven't tried anything with him."

Chris shakes his head and says. "I don't know either, But I will talk to him if he calls me." She nods, and Chris says. "Ash, come here." She sits by him, and he rubs her back and says. "This isn't just about Seb..am I right?"

She looks at him and says. "Your right." he kisses her head, knowing that she isn't one to cry in front of him.

He says. "John?" She says as she looks at Chris. "How the hell does he wants me to be like!?"

Chris says in a low tone. "Babe, Calm down." She lay her head on him and says. "I just wish he didn't come back into my life." He says. "I know."

Chris gets a call from someone. He hangs up, and Ash says. "Who was that darling?" Chris says. "Just an unknown number, nothing big." He rubs her arm and says. "When do you have to get to work?" She looks at him and says as she smiles at him. "In an hour, Can you go to the cafe with me?"

Chris says. "I have a few things to work on but, if jake is okay with me joining, I'll be there." He kisses her head and says. "Do you want breakfast?" She nods and says. "Sure, what are you making?" he says as he sits up and kisses her on the cheek. "Pancakes?"

Ashley nods and says as she gets a text from Jake. "Sure thing, babe." he walks out, and Jake texted her saying.

J- Hey sis, are you joining dad and me at the cafe? He wants to talk to us...look, I know you don't think he's your dad, but Ashley, you have to try at least to speak to him. He told me he wants to be part of Aden's life. Anyway, text me when you can...Love you, sis.

Ashley sits on the bed and stares at his message, and sighs. She walks into the kitchen, and Chris is dancing to some music he has on his phone.

She smiles and sits at the counter and watches him dance. He turns around and says. "Oh, hey, didn't hear you come in."
