Chris opens his eyes and sees his wife sleeping soundly, He thinks to himself as he watches her sleep. "No nightmares, good." He kisses her cheek and then sits up and gets out of bed and walks into Aden's nursery and Aden is holding his hands up, Chris reaches down and picks his son and says. "Sh, let's mommy sleep okay?" He walks out into the living room and Dodger is behind him and Chris says. "Okay, hmm let's see, what can we do this early?"

He looks around and dodger brings the toy Chris and Ashley gave him last year and Chris sits on the ground and has Aden on his lap and says. "Dodger, bring it here." Chris's dog wags his tail and jumps around. Chris says. "Ah sh, no jump bud, be careful of Aden."

Dodger hits the toy and Chris says ."Hey, good job dodger." Chris looks at Aden and says. "Soon you'll be able to play with the dogs, just three years from now."

Chris keeps watching his dog play and then he hears Ashley say. "Chris, Aden is missing!!" She runs out and Chris looks at her from the floor and says with a smile. "Morning mommy."

Ashley places her hand on her chest and says. "I didn't see him in his crib oh gosh, don't scare me like that." She sits down on the floor by her husband and she smiles at Aden and he giggles at her and Chris hands Aden to her and says. "I'm going to get some coffee, want some?" She nods and says as she looks at him. "Sure, thank you."

He walks away and Ashey looks at Aden and she holds him up and says. "Hey buddy, did daddy wake ya up?" Chris says as he pours a cup of coffee. "He woke up before me."

Chris walks back with two cups of coffee and he hands one to his wife and sits by her and Ashley says as she has Aden on the floor in front of her. "So what are you doing today?" Chris says as he smiles. "Mark wants me out in LA for a few days, I told him I can't leave my family."

Ashley looks at him and says. "What? Sure you can, Chris." He says. "I can't babe, Unless Kate is with you, I am staying with you." He kisses her cheek and Ashley says. "Don't turn this around husband, I think Aden and I would be okay without you here, go and do your job, call when you can and I'll be just fine."

Chris looks at his wife and says. "You sure? I don't mind staying here." Ashley says. "Chris, don't argue with me." He laughs and says as he picks up his cup. "I'm not trying too." He sips and Ashley says. "I can have Kate stay over those days if that will make you feel safer when you're away."

Chris says. "I think I'd feel better if she was here, and no I don't think you'll feel like you're being babysat." Ashley stands up and picks up Aden and says. "We want you to work, But Thanksgiving is next week too, so." Chris crosses his arms and says. "You sure? I think I'll be back for thanksgiving, this is Aden's first Thanksgiving too so I wouldn't miss it for work."

Ashley looks at Chris with Aden in her arms and says with a smile. "I know! I am so excited to be with our family for this. And yes, I will have Kate over if that makes you better."

Chris says. "I'd rest easier if she's with you two." Ashley nods and says. 'Why is that?" Chris looks at her and says. "Hmm?" She sets Aden in his day crib and looks at her husband. "Why are you so worried? I told you that Stan didn't talk to me after I hit him, So why worry?"

Chris rubs her arms and says. "I just want my family safe, It's just who I am." He kisses her lips and she pulls away and says with a grin. "Don't worry about us, I'll be okay."

Chris says. "I still need to talk to him about that night, I'm going to be pissed about what he tried!" Ashley grabs her coffee and says. "Kick him for me." Chris smiles and grabs his phone and says. "Okay I need to pack for my flight, I'll be gone for three days, I should be back in time to help make dinner for thanksgiving."
