What About Us?

Part 14

Ashley walks out into the set of the classroom and Chris is going through her line and she smiles and says as she holds his arm. "What's that, Love?' He looks at her and says with a smile. 'It's your lines, it's a bit long, so I am trying to cut some out of it for ya."

He kisses her lips and she smiles when he pulls away. She looks around the set and says. "So, are you in this part, or is it Laurie?" Chris says as he glances at Ashley. "I think I will be in it, but, No cute stuff with me." She grins and says. "I can't help it, love, you're my husband so I love being cute with you."

Chris says as he crosses his arms. "Your name is Holly Wells, and your Jake's Math teacher, you are dating a guy and I come to talk to you about Jake staying in school during his trial." She nods and looks at him and says. "Are you okay?"

Chris walks around to the script and says. "Yeah I am, why?" She says. "Because I can see the worry in your eyes." He looks up at her and says. 'My mom asked about you, I think Scott told her about you know." Ash nods and says as she rubs her arms. "And?" Chris shakes his head and says. "And I am just not into this crap, not at all." He leans on the desk and puts his hand on his eyes to stop crying. Ash walks to him and wraps her arms around him and he leans on her chest and sobs.

She rubs his back and says. "Chris, I know this isn't easy on you, and I am sorry I didn't ask you were doing through all of this, I guess I was too sorry for myself and I didn't even ask you." He pulls away and says as he wipes away his tears ."I had to be strong you honey, that's what our job is for being in a marriage."

She looks at him and says. "True, But I love you so much, even though this hell we have been through you still been there for me, even when I have pushed away you are so caring and I love that darling."

He wraps his arms around her and says. "I love you too, Ashley." She hugs him back and says. "Hmm." He pulls away and says as he looks into her green eyes. "Ready to do this?" She nods and says with a grin. "Yeah." he kisses her forehead and they head out with the cast and they get filming.

In the acting.

Andy walks in and sees the teacher packing her up things up and he says. "Excuse me." She looks at him and says with a warm smile. "Hello." He says as he shakes her hand. "Andy Barber." 

She shakes his hand and says. "Holly Wells, I heard what's happening to Jacob and I wanted to let you know that I am behind your family, no matter what." He nods and says. ' thank you. Miss. Wells. I came here to ask if he could stay in class during school time and just have him keep busy during his case, I am not sure if the principal said yes or no yet."

She nods and says. "I think she said he could but some of the students don't feel safe being in the same room with him, so I would have to work my way around that." Andy nods and says. 'Thank you very much, Miss Wells. My wife would feel safer if you were with him, you know we both trust you with our son." She nods and says. "Anytime, Andy." CUT! Ashley looks at the cast and Chris shakes his head and says. "Oh no, what now?"

Someone says. "She can't call you by your first name." Ash cringes and says with a laugh. "Ops," Chris says with a smile. "So it's barber only?" the person gives a thumbs up and Ash says. "Sorry!"

Chris says as he puts his arm around her waist. "They know you're new." She smiles and they restart the shot and they nail it and Ash claps when someone yells. "Cut!"

Chris says as they walk out of the room. "Oh, I have an interview tonight if you want to join me." She looks at her husband and says. "Hmm, I think I would love to." he kisses her and says. "Come on, we have to get ready for the next shoot."

This is her outfit.
