George took dreams hand as they trailed through the reserve, the soft leaves and twigs crackling beneath their feet.

George began to run letting go of dreams hand, in a fit of giggles he ran through the trees, the feeling felt so familiar, like this had happened before.

He continued before crashing into a figure he fell looking up seeing dream
"You're too fast- no fair!" George pouted, dream extended a hand and george took it standing.

"You run from a vampire who's best capability is speed, you're an idiot" dream wheezed holding his knees
"Oh shut up! i forgot"
"Excuses, excuses georgie"

The two sat against a log and stared at the sky, their hands interlocked.

It was midday, a river flowed harshly not too far from them the soft rushing sound filling the air, the looked around.  A small herd of deer stood around, eating from patches of grass whilst the smaller ones chased eachother.

They seemed alerted though, a group of foxes came along and began pestering them, the deer eventually ran off as the foxes chased them.

Dream stood, taking georges hand pulling him up they walked to the river.

"If you push me in i will literally kill you" george stood back slightly
"oh you idiot, i wouldn't dare"
"hm, that's up for debate"
"you'd be sad, i don't want you to be sad"
"simp, anyway, why are we here because if you expect me to swim in that you're stupid"
"swimming in a river? and i'm the stupid one? no i wanna cross it"
"right i'll just craft us a boat" George rolled his eyes, his tone was sarcastic

"You're such a dick" Dream began walking along the river as george followed, they eventually reached a fallen log

"perfect" he smiled getting onto it
George froze, "you can't be serious" he shook his head
"awh is the little baby scared" dream teasingly cooed
"maybe a little" he pouted
"so you can fight scary ass vampires and a satyr but you see a log and shit yourself" dream laughed

george didn't laugh however, his playful pout turned into a frown and his breath seemed to get faster.

Dream jumped down from the log and hurried over, "baby i didn't mean to upset you-" He cupped georges face as tears began to form, "baby?" dream tapped georges face lightly.

George snapped back to reality and shook his head

"georgie are you alright"
"mhm" he nodded
"be honest with me" dream grabbed georges hand and kissed it
"i remembered something"
"what was it?"
"falling, from the sky, hitting the ground, you holding me as you cried"
"that was a long time ago george, we're both alright now" Dream kissed georges hand again, george pulled himself into dream and just held him.

"See, i've got you love" Dream rubbed georges back
"I know"

They pulled away and dream continued to hold georges hand guiding him across the log. As soon as they reached the other side they trailed further into the forest.

"After so long, i finally found you both" The person adjusted the long material white gloves over their hands.

George and Dream froze looking up at the large figure before them
