"George stop it!" Dream giggled as george poked georges rib cage causing involuntary fits of laughter mixed with wheezed to escape him
"You're so ticklish!" George teased continuing
"Exactly why-" He wheezed "Why you should stop" Dream continued to laugh

He had enough and pushed george down hovering over him
He used his right hand for support as he looked down at george.

"I'd be mad if you weren't so pretty"
"oh shut up" george shook his head but his jaw was soon pulled back by a rough hand
"don't move, i'm admiring you"
george nodded
"Pretty privilege really takes a different form when it comes to you"
George began to blush as dream observer the features he had already observed hundreds of times in the past, but he wasn't bored he'd do it a hundred times more.

Dream leant down and planted a kiss on georges lips, he kissed back yet their moment was interrupted by dreams phone buzzing on the side, dream shook his head with a frown and crawled off of george and picked it up

"hello?"
"dream.."
"woah woah- sapnap what's going on"

sapnap was obviously tearful, his voice was raspy and he was clearly blocked up from crying. Soft sniffles could be heard every so often.

"He's dead"
"Who's dead sap?"
"Karl"
Dream rolled his eyes
"Okay, i thought that you hated him-" Dreams words could be deemed inconsiderate yet in his mind he was right
"He killed himself dream! Because of me and alex, he hung himself and we found him and it was awful-"
"I don't know what you expect me to say nick"
"Just be my damn friend for once, stop worrying about yourself and george and fucking care, just once dream! Once is all i ask" Sapnap yelled, his voice cracking with every harsh word.
"Sapnap- all he did was hurt you, i don't understand how you expect me to pity him"
"Just fuck off dream" his words were followed by long beeps, dream threw his phone in frustration and george jumped up.

"Jesus dream- the hell was that" George asked placing his hands around dreams hips pulling him close
"Sapnaps pissed off with me"
"Why?"
"Because karl killed himself- i don't know what he expects me to do- or say"
"Maybe be there for him?"
"Oh don't you side with him" dream shoved george away, george just raised an eyebrow crossing his arms.
"Don't take your frustrations out on me" George said, his words were confident.
"You're literally siding with Sapnap-"
"-I'm not siding with anybody dream, i'm pointing out where you went wrong" George cut dream off
"Whatever, i'm sleeping on the couch" Dream walked out slamming the door

Georges heart stung a little at the sudden slam of the door, he sat on the bed and began sniffling, he wasn't a fan of shouting or arguing. He especially didn't like being apart from dream and dream was well aware of this. George didn't feel safe alone, dream was being spiteful and irrational in his actions.

Georges sniffles turned to cries as he crawled beneath the duvet, he hated the cold that was followed by loneliness.

he heard the bedroom door open, a gentle cream

"i'm sorry georgie" dream mumbled quietly stood by the door, george didn't look he continued facing the other way
"i know" George sniffled wiping his eyes
"I didn't want to leave you alone, i know you don't like it"
George patted the bed gesturing for dream to get in, dream did so, he opened his arm and george found his way to dreams chest resting his head beside dreams heart.

"I can be a real dick sometimes" Dream mumbled running his hands through georges hair
"yeah, you can be- but that doesn't stop me loving you" George grabbed Dreams hand and kissed the back of it, dream tightening his grip around georges hand

A gentle thunder sounded outside as rain hit against the windows. The sound of the boys breathing and the buzzing of a fan that circulated the room.

"i don't like making you cry"
"i'm just sensitive dream"
"you don't have to excuse my stupidity george"
"i'm not, i'm just stating what's true"
"i really do love you georgie, i was just stressed earlier"
"I know you also don't like being told that you're wrong, but i love you too"
"I'm sorry i can't help it i'm a leo" Dream sarcastically said followed by a laugh
"I love you, even though you're a bit of an idiot"
"a bit is a major understatement george"
"right you are, you're a massive idiot"
"that infact, i am"

Dream goes to a bar daily to admire the man on the stage who plays the guitar and sings, eventually falling for him

dream is canonically ND in the story so we're gonna see more ND representation in my writing (i'm nd and just like spreading awareness like i did in heart strings)
