George trailed his fingers over the box, one he hadn't seen since before he and dream had pursued their relationship, a box he hadn't seen in over twenty years.
He lifted the lid and looked down at the items, from old love notes to lockets, even photographs. Simply a box of dreams memories of george in his past lives.
The box was old, falling apart even.
He smiled as his mind flashed glimpses of the times he barely remembered, he heard the door open and quickly shoved it back in its rightful place.
"Everything okay Georgie?" Dream leant against the door frame
"yeah, it's all good" he chuckled standing
"whatcha doing on the floor?" dream approached him wrapping his arms around his waist
"oh i dropped a pen"
"did you find it?"
"no, i'll look for it later, it wasn't important anyway"
"if you're sure love"
George rested his head on dreams chest taking in the scent of his cologne.
"i need to ask you something"
"what's wrong?" george pulled away, afraid it would be negative
"so this is probably the most melodramatic way to ask but"
"hm?"
"will you marry me?"
"did you just propose without a ring, in the middle of our messy bedroom on a thursday evening"
"yeah, i did"
"dream was there much point proposing we've been together for over twenty years and i'm kinda stuck with you now"
"you complain about literally everything" dream pulled away from the hug and crossed his arms with a frown
"i never said no baby"
"cool, we're fiancé's now"
"pog"
"did you just-" dream wheezed "did you just pog-"
"yeah i did and what about it pog pog pog pog" george continued before dream tackled him onto the bed tickling his sides as george laughed and heaved playfully slapping him away
"dr-" he laughed
"dream stop!" he yelled as dream prodded and poked him
"never!" dream continued before eventually settling on top of him straddling him, he leant down and kissed georges lips
"i love you dream"
"i love you too idiot"
"that's not my name"
"nimrod?"
"no"
"george"
"that's the one"
"i love you george"
"that's better" george grabbed the back of dreams neck pulling him back down and kissing him.
