George turned, half expecting to feel dream beside him. He opened his eyes realising his partner wasnt there, he sat up and looked down realising his stomach and back were bandaged
He didn't feel anything, so he couldn't exactly work out where he was hurt. He turned onto his side noticing a letter folded, 'georgie' on the front.
George grabbed the letter and opened it.
good morning, love
stay in bed, i should be home by the next
dawn, if i'm not, just know i went out
with good intentions, that i died fighting.
