WHILE MOST Of her team was locked up she was laid in a hospital bed, unresponsive. The only sign of life being her heartbeat and the occasional breath. The team had drove themselves crazy with worry, both teams who had witnessed the accident.

Steve didn't know what had happened to her yet, that much was obvious. Because Tony knew if Steve had been told he would be here. Tony also felt horrible because the rest of her team, her family, was locked in a floating prison, thanks to him.

Her room is just down the hall from Rhodeys so it's very easy and convenient for Tony to visit. Pietro however, doesn't leave. He was never truly there for her the last time she was hospitalized and he was making damn sure he was there this time. Especially since Clint and Wanda couldn't be there for her.

He found himself nearly going crazy waiting for her to wake up, wishing to tell her she saved another person while risking her life. While Rhodeys legs were broken and his spinal cord fractured he was alive, because of the girl.

When he was left alone with the girl he would often play with her hair, softly brushing it, braiding various pieces, wrapping it around his fingers. He also found himself touching her constantly, whether it was adjusting how she was laying, holding her hand, playing with her fingers, anything as a reminder that she was still there.

When the news broke that Steve's team had broken out of the prison he felt a sense of relief, knowing his sister would be okay. But he still felt the guilt trickle through his body every time he looked at the girl. He didn't save her, he couldn't protect her, again.

Helen was away on business so Tony had a different team than the last to help heal her, luckily they found that much like her last trip to the ICU her body was healing quicker than normal. But once again like last time her outside wounds healed quickly, but waking her up was difficult.

They decided against the serum used during her last coma, remembering the events caused by waking her. Focusing instead on keeping her comfortable for when she wakes up.

After around 2 weeks she begins showing progress, her fingers moving every now and then, and she's now able to move her fingers on her own.

After Rhodey was moved to Columbia medical he began to show real improvement and Tony made stabilizers to help him walk again. In between physical therapy he would visit the girl and always see Pietro in the same chair he left him in.
