After a long night, you wake up to find Light Spinner next to you.

"Hey, Light Spinner," you said tiredly.

"Hey, I think it's time that you get up," Light Spinner commented.

"How did the sorcerers guild meeting go last night?"

"Oh you know the typical we don't want to anything because the princesses have it all under control. They refuse to believe that the Horde is a real threat to Etheria, and they refuse to understand that the princesses are too weak to be able to fight them all on their own."

"Why don't they understand that the Horde is a real threat?"

"They don't understand the danger that they can cause. The sorcerers haven't been in your position fighting against them. They haven't seen the amount of people that will die if the Horde rules over Etheria."

"So, a lack of awareness of being on the front lines as opposed to watching from the sidelines?"

"Yes, that's my thought at least. I always can look at what the Horde is doing through my cauldron. They don't have the power to see what the Horde is fully doing, so it's nearly impossible for them to understand where I am coming from."

"I don't understand how they couldn't see what you saw when you look into the cauldron."

"They refuse to take off the blinders that they are wearing and see the true horrors that Etheria is going to be in if we don't act."

"I'm sorry."

"I expected nothing less from them. After everything I have done for them, they refuse to listen to me. They think that I am a old lunatic that is in a different dimension, but I'm not that at all because if anything they're the ones in a different dimension."

"Why wouldn't the sorcerers guild love you? You are so powerful and incredibly smart and witty."

"They refuse to see Etheria the way I see it. They think that my ideas of casting darker magic will only make things worse instead of better."

"I see. I'm sorry. I wish there would be someone that would respect your ideas."

"I wish you could be on the sorcerers guild, we need more members like you. Maybe in a few years you will."

A few years later . . .

After years of studying with Light Spinner and fighting against the Horde, you have finally been inducted into the sorcerers guild. You are thrilled because now you can listen to Light Spinner's ideas first hand. After your first meeting you approach Light Spinner as everyone else is leaving.

"Hey, Light Spinner! Can I tell you something?" you asked.

"Sure, what is it?" Light Spinner replied.

"I love being a part of the sorcerers guild, and I think that all of your ideas are amazing. But . . ."

"But what darling?"

"I love something a bit more about being a part of the sorcerers guild."

"What is that?"

"Being around you more. Ever since I met you I always felt a strong connection between us. I felt like I loved you in a way I have never loved anyone before. I think that you are beyond gorgeous and intelligent, and I love you Light Spinner. I really do."

The room suddenly becomes silent.

"Darling, I have felt the same way. I thought that you were always intelligent and quite courageous and witty. I love you too. Now that we're comrades in the sorcerer guild nobody will think it's controversial anymore."

"I love you Light Spinner."

"You don't need to call me Light Spinner anymore. You can call me Beatrix."

"Beatrix, that's a gorgeous name."

Beatrix takes off the cloth that covers her nose and mouth. At that moment you lean in to kiss her.

It's like fireworks go off as the chemistry between you and Beatrix sparks into an inseparable bond.

As you both lean back the glow doesn't leave your eyes. "Good night, Beatrix," you said.

"Good night, darling," she replies.
