TIME JUMP: 13 years

Adora and Catra wake up. They know what today is. It is there "18th birthday party."

They don't know precisely when they were born, but since the day they got Adora and Catra were fairly close together, they decided to have one large party in Mystacor.

Adora and Catra have stayed in Mystacor with Kyrion since you've moved away. Every year, Glimmer, Angella, Castaspella, and Bow came to Mystacor to visit you. However, today was the day Adora and Catra were going to tell you and Light Spinner that they weren't staying in Mystacor any longer.

Adora and Catra loved Mystacor with all their heart, but the war against the Horde was only growing more intense. Mystacor was secluded, and it would be more challenging to become more involved. Glimmer had begged Adora and Catra to go for a few years, but now they were finally ready.

You, Light Spinner, and Kyrion are standing outside of Adora and Catra's bedroom door. You have offered several times to allow them to have separate rooms, but they never wanted to be taken away from one another. I wonder why they love each other so much.

As you hear the door creak open, you prepare the confetti cannons. Two shadowy figures exit the room.

"SURPRISE!!!!!" The three of you cried out.

Adora and Catra's eyes looked like they bulged out of their sockets.

"Happy birthday, girls! Oh. I love you two so much," Light Spinner said as she squeezed the girls tightly.

"Yeah, guess what. I got you both something. Look. I found new swords at the fair last week. I bought them for you!" Kyrion exclaimed.

"More like he stole them," Adora muttered. Catra giggled.

"I wanted to get you wands, but I forgot you don't have magic powers."

"Thanks, Kyrion."

Kyrion ran down the castle hallway.

"Hey, um, guys. Can we talk to you about something?" Catra asked.

"Yeah, sure. What do you want to talk about? Castaspella's over-the-top party plans? Cake?" you asked.

"No, not that. Um, well, Adora and I have been talking for a few years about this. We know that neither of us have magical powers, and we don't feel like we have a strong place in Mystacor. Also, Glimmer and Bow have been talking about us coming to live in Brightmoon for a while. And well we decided that we need to go to Brightmoon to help in the war against the Horde."

The silence washes over the group like an ocean wave. The four of you take turns gazing into each other's eyes. Suddenly, Light Spinner broke the silence.

"I don't want the two of you to leave us. I thought you loved it here."

"Mom, we love it here, but we think that Brightmoon is going to be better for us," Adora replied.

"Considering we don't have magic powers, we feel like outcasts. We were blind to it when we were younger, but now that we're grown up, we can see that we aren't like everyone else," Catra added.

"But that's why I want you to stay. I want to prove to people that Mystacor is a safe haven for sorcerers and non-sorcerers where we can be peaceful with one another," Light Spinner argued.

"Honey, we need to talk about this before we say anything rash," you interrupted.

"Yes, please think about it. We love you guys and we want to make the best decision for everyone," Adora agreed.
