After a moment, you and Light Spinner arrive in the underground of Mystacor. The eerie purple and navy colors of the tunnels warp together and thousands of violet holes open up and reveal millions upon millions of pathways.

"Which one do we go through?" you asked.

"Didn't I already tell you we have to go up that one," Light Spinner said pointing at one of the gaping holes.

You look up to where Light Spinner was pointing. It was the one right in the middle of the thousand holes. Your eyes gape and your pupils dilate with fear. "How are we going to get up there? I've already tried a levitation spell, but my magic doesn't seem to work in here."

"Really? Interesting. I thought magic would work down here. Especially since sorcerers have navigated it before," Light Spinner stated.

"Well, does that mean that the sorcerers navigated it using their magic or were they just smart enough to know how to navigate it?"

"I don't know dear. Unfortunately, we don't know until we try everything in our power for our magic to work."

"Alright." You attempted another levitation spell, a stair step spell, a revealing spell, and even a basic shield, but nothing worked. Light Spinner tried as well, but nothing seemed to work.

"What? Why does our magic not work? I don't understand," Light Spinner anxiously quivered.

"What about a single blast of magic?" you asked.

Light Spinner throws a single blast, it worked.

"So, what are we supposed to do with a blast of magic?" Light Spinner wondered.

Suddenly, something roared shaking the entire area around them as if this sound was enough to cause a mere earthquake. "Oh, shit," Light Spinner yelled.

What at first looked like a large boulder rolled out of its coil, it looked to have a basilisk body, dragon wings, and the eyes of the deadliest spider in Mystacor, the eyes of the eucalyptus spider. It roared like a lion as it took a lunge at Light Spinner for firing the magic awaking it from its slumder. She is knocked back.

Panic runs through your blood. You turn cold and stiff. The only thing you can do is stare at the horrific monster in front of you. Staring at it you realize that it is not meant to attack, but it was injured from Light Spinner's strike. You suddenly without thinking about the outcome, you touch the wound. The gash was about a three cm deep and about thirty cm wide with blue blood running like a river. The creature stares at you with the eyes of the eucalyptus spider and screams at you. Your hair blows back at this roar and some slobber graces your face like a light rain shower.

You envision the only healing spell allowed in the sorcerers guild, and you look into the terrifying eyes and see the fear slowly leave the eyes and are washed with a sense of calm. Once the creature was fully healed the creature grunted happily. Something that nobody in the sorcerers guild knew was that before becoming a sorcerer you were working with your parents as an animal healer - before they died that was. The magic came naturally in your warm, tender, and nuturing spirit.

"Hello. I'm (your name here). What's yours?" you asked the creature.

The creature grunted, "Rory."

"Hello, Rory. It's nice to meet you."

"Um, honey. I need an explanation of everything that just happened," Light Spinner interrupted.

"Sure, Beatrix. The magic blast you did injured Rory here, so they became furious hurting you. I saw the wound and healed it with a healing spell. Now, we have met Rory," you recaped.

"Thanks for that. I'm still confused on the whole talking to them part."

"Well, they are incredibly rare. They say that they are a guardian of the underground called a Gorgoria. However, they have decided to establish their own identity, Rory. They are great cookie bakers, and they happen to know the place well."

"Wait. They know how to navigate these tunnels?"

"Yes."

"Can they fly us to where they need to go?"

"I'll ask them."

You turn to Rory, who is nodding their head.

"I'm assuming that is a yes."

Light Spinner walked slowly up to them and held out her hand. She placed her hand on Rory's head. Rory tilted their head to cuddle with Light Spinner.

"I'm sorry I hurt you. I never meant to make you angry. Do you think you can take us to the failsafe to the heart of Etheria?" Light Spinner apologized.

Rory grunts and squeaks their response.

"They say that they can take us halfway. Then at that point we will have full access to our magic and be able to determine which way to go with relative ease."

"Okay, I'll take it."

You and Light Spinner grab your travel bag and hop onto Rory's back.

Once you are all settled and envision the knights in shining armor ad the princess on the hourse, you rub Rory's back. They squeak with joy.

"Ready Rory?" you asked.

Rory chortled with glee. They start flapping their wings, and they fly up to the hole that Light Spinner had mentioned earlier.

"Ready passengers?" Rory grunted.

"They are asking if you are ready Light," you translated.

"Oh, of course I'm ready whenever you are," Light Spinner responded gripping onto your shoulders.

"Alright, Rory, we are ready!" you exclaimed.

Rory smiles and then zooms into the hole and continues on the path.

The speed is exilerating.

"WOOHOO!" Light Spinner yelled.

"THIS IS AMAZING!" you cried out.

You are on the right path. You know this is the way. As you travel on Rory, you almost forget you are on a life or death mission that could change the fate of Etheria. The only way for us to survive is to work together and use our magic to our advantage. This is the endgame afterall.
