I heard gramps call for everyone's attention as I looked up and he was standing on the stage. I hear him whistle, getting the whole guild's attention and he says " I have chosen the people who will be given the chance to become an s-class wizard. The trials will take place on tenrou island. It is sacred to fairy tail because the founder and first master is buried on the island. Now without further ado the people who will have a chance to make s-class are kana,mest,natsu,grey,juvia,levy. Congratulatulations to those of you who made it, to those of you who didn't, you will get a chance next year. Also those of you who were selected will get to choose a partner for the test. We will depart for tenrou Island in one week. You have seven days to prepare for it. You're dismissed."

Juvia chose lisanna, levy chose gajeel, natsu chose happy of course, can choose Lucy, mest chose Wendy, and grey chose (y/n) his sister.

I was surprised when grey came up to me and asked me to be his partner because I heard from mira that he had made some plan to do it with a dude named loke this year. He came to me and asked me a question "hey sis ya wanna be my partner?" with a giant smile spread across his face as he said it. Excited but also confused i say " yeah that would be so awesome but mira told me you were gonna do the test with some dude named loke aren't you still planning on doing that?"

Grey turned his head towards Mira and gave her a glare which she returned with an even more intense one that scared grey a little bit. Then he looked back at me and said "yeah i was but then i remembered we haven't really hung out and trained a whole lot since you showed up and i thought it would be great if you would be my partner. Also loke is still going to be in the test after i told him i wanted to be your partner he decided to go and be natsu's partner."

" i'd love to be your partner! We should start training together for the test as soon as possible." Then I remembered that I haven't told him that I'm a demi-god so I can't practice magic in front of him yet. So I quickly fixed my mistake "wait actually since we use the same magic there really isn't a point to training together right now, we only have a week to train so we should get stronger separately this week then after we can train together." I say attempting to come up with an excuse. Not completely understanding but going along with it anyways grey said " oh alright i guess that makes sense. I'll see you in a week (y/n). Be prepared for anything on that island."

" I will grey. See you in a week." I said waving goodbye as I walked out of the guild hall.
