6. I just love it when you scold me

The next day, after my morning classes, I go home for lunch. I am excited. I try to convince myself it is because my cast is coming off but I'm not sure. It's time. As I rush down, I suddenly worry about how he will behave with me. I mean, he made it pretty clear before that it was just sex, I assume it is still the case and he won't expect his new girlfriend. Because I am not ready for this. Passing the door, I find him leaning against a bolt in front of my door and smiling. I definitely feel thrilled to see him, he's such a babe, and he greets me with a simple "Hello." No hug, no kiss, no intimate gesture and, relieved, I follow him down the path.

"Are you excited?" I know he doesn't mean it the same way I do but...

"Very. Thanks for coming with me."

"My pleasure. I like your company."

"I bet you do." I wink and bump into his side, making him shaking his head as he rolls his eyes, smiling nonetheless.

"You're such a perv'."

"Look who's talking!" We laugh and arrive at his car, where he opens the door for me. You can say what you want, he is still a gentleman.

"Are you doing something this weekend?"

"I have an assignment."

"Hopefully your laptop will survive."

"Oh yeah." The realisation that my laptop could just die with no warning makes me think. "I really need to buy another one."

"Wanna do some shopping after the cast is removed? I can recommend a few models."

"I was gonna go shopping anyway. So yes, definitely. I know nothing about laptops so anything you can recommend would be brilliant."

It's funny because even though we slept together, there's no awkwardness or expectations. It's easy. It's as if I was just hanging out with a friend, the only difference being that I know he is a sex god. Damn it, why am I thinking about this? I get flashes of his rising glistening chest, his back, his arms, his... I just suddenly feel so thirsty for another taste.

"Hello?"

"WHAT?!"

"Haha! I was asking if you knew which annex we need to go to."

"If you park there we should be close enough to the building."

"Yes Ma'am." He salutes me before parking his car. He's funny.

Walking along the corridor, I feel a little anxious. The smell and poor lighting of some of the corridors, bring up bad memories. We're here. Orthopaedics. I speak to the receptionist and we sit down, waiting for my turn. I go quiet for a while until I feel his hand rubbing my thigh.

"Umh, what are you doing?" And I thought we were good.

"Your knee is shaking, I'm just trying to help you relax." I stare down and he's right. "Are you okay? I didn't realise you were stressing about this. I'm glad I came." His cute grin is soothing.

"I'm okay. I just hate hospitals."

"I'm not a big fan either."

"Something tells me it's not for the same reasons."

"Want to share?"

"Nah. I'm good. Don't want to go there. I don't like people feeling sorry for me."

"Oh! I won't feel sorry for you. Don't worry. I'm insensitive and self-centred." He's so serious saying that. It's funny.

"Yeah! You're also rude, boring, weak and dead ugly."
