It's been a week since I have seen Jaebeom. I know he's worried but I've said I need space to focus on my exams and I hope that will keep him at ease. I'm not lying. I need to focus and seeing him is a distraction. My mind is distracted by guilt every time I see him.
I know he has said in the past that I was not being unfaithful and that I shouldn't feel guilty but I do. Although he has no idea that my feelings for Jungkook are not taming. I would never act up on them. Focus! Focus! Only another two exams today and I can relax. Can I though?
After a full day of tests, with all the stress over, I call my man. Every morning, I would receive a sweet encouraging message from him, but it's been two days that I have not. I messaged him, but he's not been answering. I tried to call him several times to no avail, leaving messages, this is doing the opposite from letting me focus on my exams and I have been worrying.
He finally answers.
"Hey babe. I'm done with my exams." He doesn't answer. "Jaebeom? Can you hear me?" I look at my phone, making sure we are connected and we are. "Jaebeom? Is everything okay?"
"Why do you care?" I scoff.
"Okay. What's with the mood? Are you upset?"
"Ina. Leave me alone." Well that hurts.
"I'm sorry. Did I say something?" Silence. "Did I do something?"
"Why don't we go ask Jungkook?" The aggressiveness in his voice is painful.
"Why are you talking about Jungkook?" How does he know?
"Well I don't know. Maybe because you've seen each other behind my back?"
"We've not SEEN each other. We've bumped into each other. Nothing wrong with being courteous."
"Courteous? That's what you call it?"
"Did you see us? Are you following me?"
"I'm not. I just saw pictures."
"So you're having someone following me."
"It's on social media." I see where this is going.
"And you didn't think it was all a Sheona's scheme?"
"I did. I do. Put the pictures are pretty explicit and you don't need caption to see what's happening."
"Jaebeom, this is ridiculous. This is exactly what she is after."
"So you're gonna tell me nothing happened?"
"Nothing happened." Although, I did realise I still love him and I cried my eyes out because of that.
"You just bumped into each other."
"Yes."
"He didn't kiss you?"
"What?!?" Remembering the coffee shop, there was no kiss or attempt. "NO!"
"At the bottom of your building?" The bitch! She really had me followed.
"I didn't kiss him. I swear!"
"And he didn't kiss you?"
"I just said." I am really annoyed now.
"I just want to make sure the wording is correct."
"You don't trust me. Wow! Thanks."
"I know you're faithful but as you asked for some space, and few days later the pictures came out, I started to wonder if you just broke up with me, or if it was imminent."
