Kylo lay in his bed, staring at the ceiling and listening to the sound of running water coming from his en suite as he waited for Rey to finish showering.
When he finally heard the tap shut off, he sat up, watching as Rey shuffled out of the bathroom in the dry clothes he had leant to her. Though Rey wasn't particularly short, Kylo's sweatpants were far too big on her, bunching up at the ankles and causing her to hold onto the waistband to prevent them from falling off.
She almost tripped over as she walked across the room, causing Kylo to stifle a laugh, and Rey to send him a piercing glare.
"Great." She sighed. "Now I have to go home looking like this."
"You look great." Kylo chuckled, walking towards her and slinging an arm around her neck. "Come on, I'll drive you home."

Rey let out a frustrated groan as she fumbled with her front door keys, still holding onto her sweatpants with her other hand. Eventually, the door unlocked and she stepped inside.
The room was dark, very dark. Glancing around nervously, Rey ran her hands across the wall, feeling desperately for a light switch. She couldn't find one.
Rey began to wonder whether she was even in the right house.
"Aubrey?" She called out, still skimming her fingers along the wall.
Suddenly, the television switched on, and the shadow of a head was cast onto the wall in front of her.
Rey spun around, only to be met with the illuminated face of her roommate.
"Oh, thank God it's only you." Rey exhaled, holding a hand to her chest. "Why on earth were you sitting in the dark?"
"I was sleeping." Aubrey mumbled, switching on the lamp beside her.
Rey slumped onto the armchair across the room, and reached for the television remote. However, she didn't get very far, for a hand grabbed her wrist almost immediately.
"Ouch! Aubrey!" Rey winced, struggling against her roommates firm grip. "What the fuck are you doing?"
"Where. Were. You." Aubrey seethed, her hold on Rey's wrist tightening with each word.
"What?"
"Where were you, for christ's sake?!"
"Aubrey..."
"I was worried sick!" She shouted, still holding Rey's wrist in a bone-crushing grip. "I mean, at first, I just thought that maybe you were hooking up with another random guy, but when you didn't answer any of my calls-"
"I was with Kylo!" Rey retorted, finally yanking her arm free.
"Kylo Ren?" Aubrey scoffed, lowering her voice a fraction. "You were with Kylo Ren, and you didn't think to even text, or call me?! I waited up all night, ringing you over and over again, scared to fucking death that something had happened to you!"
"I'm sorry, Aubrey," Rey groaned, rubbing her temples with her palms. "I really am. I don't know what I was thinki-"
"Well, that's not fucking good enough." Aubrey snapped, wiping her nose with her sleeve. "How could you do that to me?"
"I'm so sorry, it's just... he needed me, okay?" Rey pleaded. "I know I should've called, but I forgot and- well, he just really needed me. I'm sorry."
"Whatever. I can't do this right now." Aubrey scoffed, standing up from her seat and disappearing into her bedroom.
Once she was alone, Rey switched off the rambling television and let herself sink into the armchair. She mentally facepalmed herself for what she had done to Aubrey. She had seen that her roommate was trying to get in contact with her, and she chose to blatantly ignore it.
