Somewhere Only We Know

So here's what you missed on Somewhere Only We Know. Kurt and Blaine were like super happy and in love. Blaine even sang All Of Me to Kurt. It was super romantic. But then all their happiness and dreams came crashing down as they found out that Blaine's father escaped from jail. Poor Blaine! Just give him a break! Blaine said he wanted to break up but Kurt managed to persuade him not to. They're going to try to get through things together. And that's what you missed on Somewhere Only We Know! 

"Love you too, Baby." Blaine said into his phone before he hung up. Slipping his phone into his pocket, he grabbed his key. Things were tough right now. He was terrified about his father and the consequences if he showed up again. And his mother was on edge all the time now. He hated to see her like that. He just wanted her to be happy and okay. But luckily Kurt was there. Kurt was a literal godsend. He was the best boyfriend Blaine could ask for. He was so supportive and kind and good to his mother. He was always there whether Blaine needed someone to vent to or a shoulder to cry on. The whole Hummel family had been great really. Carole and his mum had been getting on great. Finn was an awesome dude who he loved to play video games with. And Burt was pretty much the father he never had. So even though life kinda sucked right now, Blaine was doing okay. 

He unlocked the front door and walked into his house. Even though he lived at Kurt's house due to the stupid school project due to stupid Sue, he still spent a lot of time at his house with his mum. She really needed him right now with everything that was happening. So here he was visiting and about to have dinner with his mum. He was looking forward to it and then afterwards, him and Kurt were meeting up and going to get some ice cream from their favourite ice cream parlour. So he had a pretty exciting and fun evening planned. And he really needed it. 

"Mom?!" he called out but no one responded. He noticed that the living room lights were on so he headed into that room. And what he saw was like a picture from his worst nightmare. His dad was sitting there on the couch with his arm around Blaine's mother and a glass of wine in his other hand. And it made his blood run cold. 

"What are you doing here?" Blaine spat out, the venom and hatred evident in his voice. 

"Come now, Blainey, don't be rude! He's your father and this is his house. You will respect him." his mother exclaimed, giving her son a disapproving look. 

"Mother?! What are you doing? He hurt me, he hurt you, he hurt Kurt! He's an awful person and belongs in jail. I'm not going to show him any respect with the way he's treated us." 

"See Pam, this is exactly what I was talking about." James whispered to his mother. She nodded and walked over to grab her son's hands. 

"Blainey, me and your father are very concerned about you. You're angry all the time, lashing out and not obeying us. It's very worrying behaviour. He's here to help." she said, causing Blaine's eyes to widen and his mouth to drop. What the hell was going on? All he wanted was this man in jail. And his mother wanted that too before he left this morning. So what was happening now? 

"Mother, he hurt us. He needs to go to jail. He's an awful person. He's abusive and he never accepted me or loved either of us." Pam's eyes widened as she pursed her lips together and crossed her arms. She wandered off to one of the corners of the room and placed her head in her hands. This isn't how she envisioned this moment. Her family were finally back together and now her son was ruining it. 

"Enough Blaine! You're upsetting your mother! You see this is why I had to be so harsh with you before. It's to help you. To fix you and your....problems." 

"Being gay isn't a problem!" 

"Yes it is. It's the cause of all our problems. It's an illness and we're going to cure you. So we can be a family."
