So here's what you missed on Somewhere Only We Know. Blaine's Dad got arrested again, which is really good news! But Burt and Kurt got hurt, which is bad. Even worse, Blaine and Kurt broke up because Blaine felt really guilty and thought it was his fault Kurt got hurt. Kurt seems really hurt and betrayed by the whole thing! And it's probably going to be quite awkward because they were chosen to do a duet at Regionals. I wonder who they're going to do that! Without crying. Speaking of, Regionals is coming up and they have to win again or the club will be disbanded! Which would really suck! But if they do win, they get to go to Nationals in New York. Which would be awesome! And that's what you missed on Somewhere Only We Know! 

"No stop. Just stop. Guys come on! What's going on?" Mr Schue exclaimed, standing up and signalling to the band to stop. Kurt sighed and crossed his arms. He was so tired and they'd been going at this for hours. And they probably carry on for hours more because they just couldn't seem to get it right. But they had to. Regionals was this week and they needed to be perfect. Because they had to win. Kurt really didn't want to Glee club to end. It was like the only good thing in his life right now. Ever since Blaine broke up with him. Which was the main problem right now. They had to a duet and obviously they weren't working very well together right now, frustrating Mr Schue more and more. But Kurt just couldn't do it. He couldn't sing and pretend to be in love with Blaine. Not after what he did to Kurt. It just hurt so much. Kurt had been broken for weeks and had spent every night sobbing. He just couldn't believe Blaine had done it after all they'd been through. 

"I can't work with him!" Kurt exclaimed. 

"Kurt, come on, Regionals is on Saturday and we have to win. So you have to put whatever drama is going on between you two and you have to try." Mr Schue said.

"We know, Mr Schue, and we're going to give it out best shot. Maybe we could practice in the auditorium tonight. What do you think, Kurt?" Blaine asked. Kurt scoffed and shook his head. There was no way he was spending a whole evening with Blaine. He had spent hardly any time with him and had only said a few words to Blaine since they broke up. Yes, they had to stay in the same house due to the dumb school project Sue made them do but they just stayed in their own rooms. No interaction. That was the best way with the least amount of pain for Kurt. But singing and practicing with Blaine while he couldn't kiss him or tell him that he loved him sounded like pure torture. Because of course he still loved him, even though he also hated him so much. 

"No." Kurt spat, turning his nose up at Blaine. Mr Schue sighed and put his head in his hands. 

"Come on, Kurt! Blaine is trying here but you're not. You're just giving up." 

"I'm not. I tried and I can't. I'm sorry but I can't. I need a new duet partner!" 

"What?! No! Mr Schue! That's not fair. You can't just kick me out of the duet. I won the right to do it too. And if you don't want to do it with me, then, I don't think you should get to do it all!" Blaine said. Kurt's mouth dropped open as he stared angrily at Blaine. How dare he?! First, he breaks up with Kurt and breaks his heart! And then he tries to take the one thing that brings him joy right now away from him! How dare he? 

"Well the reason I don't want to do this duet with you is because you broke up with me! It's your fault really so maybe you shouldn't do it!" 

"I broke up with you to help to protect you!" 

"You don't need to protect me, Blaine! I'm my own person! And you hurt me more by breaking up with me." They stared to shout at each other, trying to defend themselves while also hurting the other person. They both stopped and jumped slightly as Mr Schue shouted at them. 

"Enough! What is going on between you two doesn't matter! Nothing does! Apart from Regionals. Because we have to win or Figgins is going to shut us down. And we can't win if you two are too busy arguing. You're both 17, grow up a little! It's clear to me that you two cannot work together, so here's what we're going to do. I wouldn't be right to just give the duet to one of you so we're going to have a competition. You're both going to choose someone that you want to sing with and after you've both performed, I'll choose the best duo and they'll sing at Regionals. Understand?"
