"I THINK I WOULD KNOW IF SHAWN WAS IN MY HOUSE!"

Shawn woke up and immediately took in Lucy's familiar scent. He smiled as he realized he was holding her. He had never cuddled with a girl before. It was always about making out with someone and not caring about them. But Shawn cared for Lucy and he wouldn't admit it but deep down he knew it was something greater than friendship. All of the girls were asleep on the floor and Shawn knew it was definitely the right time to sneak out. He didn't want to leave. He liked the feeling of Lucy in his arms but he knew that if her family knew he spent the night in her bed they wouldn't forgive him. He admired how cute she looked as little snores left her mouth. He quietly and slowly peeled his arms off of Lucy's body. He had a pillow tucked under his arms that he decided he was going to take with him. He immediately felt his heart start to slow down as he pulled away from her. He tip toed over to her window. He took one last look at her before looking out the window. "Crap." He whispered nervously as he looked out the window. Mr. Matthew's was sitting with Mrs. Matthew's right below the window. They hadn't seen Shawn but there was no way he could leave out the window.

He made his way out of Lucy's room as he decided to leave out the front door. He walked down the stairs causing them to creak. "Shawn?" Cory asked him in disbelief as he looked up at the boy walking down the stairs. "Oh hey Cory!" Shawn replies in a carefree tone. He made his way to the door hoping Cory wouldn't ask any questions. "What are you doing in my house? I thought you went home last night." Cory asked Shawn curiously. Shawn panicked as he tried to think of a lie. "I ended up sleeping on the floor in your room." Shawn lies as he laughs. Cory laughs with him but then stops laughing and glares at Shawn. "Why do you have Lucy's pillow?" Cory asked him sharply. "Her what? Oh! Her pillow. I didn't have any and she let me borrow one." Shawn replies nervously. Cory raises his eyebrow at Shawn as he walks over and starts sniffing him. Shawn awkwardly laughs as he pushes Cory away from him. "You kinda smell like Lucy's perfume!" Cory yells playfully.

"Fine! I slept in her bed!" Shawn yelled in defeat. Corys mouth fell open as he couldn't form words. "You..... and her...." Cory stuttered in disbelief. "We didn't do anything Cory.... I wouldn't lie to you.... all we did was sleep.... you know I don't like her like that." Shawn reassures Cory. Cory takes a deep breathe as he pats Shawns shoulder. "You scared me for a second." Cory tells him softly. Shawn chuckles as he pats Corys shoulder. "You told us Shawn didn't sleep over!" Mr. Matthew's yells at Cory as he walks inside. "He snuck back into my room.. later and I didn't see him....." Cory lies terribly. Lucy woke up and immediately felt cold. She realized Shawn was no longer beside her. The window was open and she assumed he had left. All of the girls woke up and drove home or got picked up. Once Lucy said goodbye to all of them she headed into the kitchen. Her eyes widened as they landed on Shawn Hunter eating her favorite cereal. "He's still here?" Lucy yelled in disbelief. Shawn winked at her as he continued to eat his breakfast. "I'm always here babe." Shawn replies flirtatiously. "We didn't know he was here either.... did you know he was here?" Mr. Matthew's questions Lucy. Shawn shakes his head aggressively as Lucy looks at him nervously. "I did not know he was here." Lucy tells her dad softly. Lucy sighs as she sits down next to Shawn. Shawn and Lucy both reach for the cereal box at the same time causing Lucy to flinch at his touch. "Sorry." Shawn mumbles awkwardly as he pulls his hand away.

Lucy quickly eats her cereal as she talks to Cory but she can't help but notice Shawn constantly looking at her. It made butterflies swarm in her stomach and she hated it. She quickly stood up and headed into the living room. "Move!" She yelled at Eric as she smacked his legs that were covering the entire couch. "No! I was here first!" Eric replied in a sassy tone as he kicked her hand. Lucy rolled her eyes as she sat down as hard as she possibly could directly on his legs. Eric groaned in pain as he gave up and moved his legs away. "I hope you know how much I hate you." Eric tells her sharply. "The feelings mutual." Lucy replies sarcastically. She grabbed her book off of the table and started reading it. She couldn't focus because her mind was thinking of Shawn who was staring at her from the kitchen. "How can she sit there and read and look so beautiful." Shawn mumbles mainly to himself. "Yeah who even reads.... wait what was that last part?" Cory replies sharply. Shawn ignores him as he walks into the living room and sits directly next to Lucy.

"Can I help you?" Lucy asks him sarcastically. "How does your head not hurt when you read?" Shawn asks her curiously as he gestures to the book. Lucy laughed as she shook her head in disbelief. "Your stupidity hurts me." Lucy tells him playfully as she pats his head. Shawn was awfully close to Lucy causing her to feel nervous. She ignored him as she continued to read her book. Shawn grabbed the book out of her hands as he laughed. "This is a romance novel!" Shawn teased her as he looked at the title. "Give it back!" She yelled as she stood up. Shawn held the book out of her reach due to him being taller than her. She tried to grab it but Shawn held it high above his head. "Let's read a page shall we!" Shawn yelled as he laughed. Cory just watched the two interact from the kitchen. "Those two are gonna get married aren't they?" Cory asked Morgan in a sad tone. "I get to be the flower girl!" Morgan yells in an excited tone. Cory shook his head as he watched his best friend flirt with his sister. Lucy grabbed Shawns arm causing sparks to go through Shawns body. He had a smile stuck on his face as he held the book out of her reach.

"She kissed him so roughly....." Shawn read the book as he laughed causing Lucy to scream. "Please give it back." Lucy asks Shawn nicely. Lucy realized Shawns body was pressed against hers as she reached for the book. Her face as inches away from his as he towered over her. "I guess I could give it back." Shawn mutters as he lowers the book. When Lucy went to grab it he yanked it away from her. "The digits of Pie are...." Lucy began to yell but Shawn grabbed his head in pain causing the book to fall. "Stop.... stop...." Shawn groaned in pain as he stumbled to the door. Lucy knew that the moment anyone brought up school stuff Shawns head hurt and he had to leave. Lucy opened the door as she waved him goodbye. She blew him a kiss which he made sure to catch in his hand.
