(Cheer Practice)

"WILL YOU BE QUIET!"

Shawn and Cory were currently hiding under the bleachers in the school gym. Shawn was peeking through the bleachers as Cory was sitting on the ground completely oblivious to what Shawn was doing. "Remind me why you wanted to eat candy under the bleachers?" Cory asks Shawn curiously as he shoves candy into his mouth. "I have my reasons." Shawn says under his breath as he tries to get a good view. Cory heard the familiar sound of the cheerleading squad yelling their game day chants. "That's why we're here!" Cory yells in disbelief. "Be quiet..." Shawn warns him as he smacks his arm. Shawn felt a grin form on his face as his eyes landed on Lucy. She was wearing tight shorts with a tank top as she went over her routine. "Isn't this kinda creepy?" Cory asks Shawn curiously. "No.... not at all... we are simply eating candy under the bleachers." Shawn replies playfully. "We never eat under the bleachers." Cory replies sharply. Shawn awkwardly laughs as he turns his attention back to the cheerleaders.

"Which one are you gonna ask out?" Cory asks Shawn curiously as he appears next to Shawn. Cory tries to see which cheerleader Shawn is looking out but it was hard to see with the bleachers in the way. "I'll probably just kiss all of them." Shawn replies in a cocky tone. Shawn felt his heart stop as he couldn't take his eyes off of Lucy. "No guys! That's awful!" One of the cheerleaders yelled at them. The music stopped as the room got quiet. Shawn stuffed a piece of candy into his mouth as his eyes remained on the girls. "It's so hot in here..." Lucy complained as she lifted up her shirt and pulled it off of her body leaving her only in her bra. Shawns mouth dropped open as he immediately started choking. "What was that?" One of the girls yelled angrily. "It came from the bleachers." Lucy mutters as she makes her way over to the bleachers. She threw her shirt back on as she got closer to the noise. Shawn was trying to catch his breath but he couldn't stop choking. "You have got to be kidding me!" Lucy screamed as her eyes landed on her brother and Shawn. "Woah... is cheer practice in here... we were just sitting here eating candy.. minding our own business." Cory says awkwardly as he pats Shawns back. Lucy glares at Cory as she turns her attention to Shawn. Tears filled his eyes as he was gasping for air.

"Is he alright?" Lucy asks Cory softly. "Yeah... he just chocked on a piece of candy." Cory replies in a carefree tone. Shawn gave her a thumbs up as he continued coughing. Shawn spit out the piece of candy causing a disgusted expression to form on Lucy's face. "I thought I was gonna die." Shawn says as he starts laughing. Lucy placed her hands on her hips as she looked down at him. "What are you doing here?" She asked him sharply. "Eating candy."Shawn says as he gestures to the bag. "Were you watching us?" Lucy asks him angrily. "Pfff.... noooo..." Shawn lies as he nudges Cory. "Who is it?" A cheerleader yelled from the other side of the room. "Two pervy boys watching us practice!" Lucy yelled in response causing Shawn to groan. Shawn and Cory stood up and walked out of the bleachers. "You didn't tell us it was Shawn Hunter!" One of the girls yelled as a smile formed on her face. "We were just leaving...." Shawn says as him and Cory head towards the door. "I hope you know I am so mad at both of you." Lucy tells them angrily. "I was an innocent bystander!" Cory yells defensively as he quickly leaves. Lucy crossed her arms as she stared daggers at Shawn.

"You're so hot when you're mad." Shawn whispers flirtatiously as he quickly closes the door. Lucy felt dumbfounded as she walked back over to the girls. She should be mad at Shawn but she could only think about how hot he looked. Lucy went through the rest of the practice with Shawn Hunter on her mind. When she arrived at home he was sitting on her couch watching a movie with Cory. The moment she walked into the room Shawns eyes landed on her. "Look Lucy... sorry we snuck into your practice..." Shawn says in a soft tone. "Don't ever do it again or I'll come into your trailer at night and kill you." She warns him. Shawn stands up as a smirk forms on his face. "I wish you would come to my trailer at night." Shawn replies seductively as his eyes locked with Lucy's. He was towering over her as they could both sense the tension. Lucy felt her throat close up as she couldn't look away from Shawn. "Like I would ever give you what you want." Lucy replies in a taunting tone. "I think you will find I can be very persuasive." Shawn says flirtatiously as he traces his finger down her arm. Lucy feels sparks go through her arm as she looks down at Shawns finger on her bare skin.

The sound of a women screaming on the tv causes Shawn to quickly look away from Lucy. "Dang it I missed her getting murdered!" Shawn yelled in a disappointed tone as he sat down next to Cory. "If you weren't busy flirting with my sister you wouldn't have missed it." Cory tells him sharply. Lucy turned her attention to the tv as she tried to get Shawn out of her mind. She glanced over at Shawn as she watched him run a hand through his hair. "Curse you for being so hot." Lucy muttered under her breath. "Did you say something babe?" Shawn asks her playfully as he turns to look at her. Her eyes widened as she realized she said that out loud. "No... I Uh... I didn't say anything." She says nervously as she quickly walks away from the couch. She walks into the kitchen as she tries to distract herself from Shawn. "I'm hungry..." Shawn tells Cory as he immediately follows Lucy into the kitchen. Lucy was looking through the fridge when she felt someone tap her shoulder. She screamed as she smacked whoever it was in the chest. "You scared the shit out of me!" She yelled angrily as her eyes landed on a smirking Shawn Hunter. "Sorry.... I was going to ask you to hand me the milk." Shawn says as he gestures to the fridge. Lucy quickly hands him the milk as she hopes he will walk away. Instead of walking away he sat on the counter as he watched Lucy grab food out of the fridge.

"I thought you were watching a movie." Lucy says to him as she grabs something from behind him. "I guess I'd rather talk to you." Shawn says in a soft tone. Lucy felt her heart hurt as she looked up at Shawn. He looked so innocent as he drank his milk but Lucy knew he was anything but that. "Today I had art class." Lucy mumbles as she pushes her body up onto the counter and sits next to Shawn. "I'm guessing it went terrible because you are ass at art." Shawn teases her causing her to smack his shoulder. "I spilled the paint all over my outfit." Lucy mutters in annoyance as she takes a bite of the cookie in her hand. Shawn laughed as he grabbed the cookie from her and took a bite out of it. He handed it back to her as she seemed unfazed by it. "You have always been clumsy. Remember when we were kids and it was Christmas time and you were carrying that snow globe you bought me and you tripped on absolutely nothing and the snow globe smashed and spilled all over the floor." Shawn says causing Lucy to laugh. "I cried so hard." Lucy says as she sighs. "I still have the little snowman figure that fell out of the snow globe." Shawn says softly. "Really?" Lucy asks him curiously. "I had the biggest crush on you when we were younger." Shawn admits as his eyes lock with her eyes. "I don't believe that." Lucy replies sharply as she shakes her head. Shawn was reminded in that moment that he loved her... he hadn't stopped loving her... he'd loved her since they were kids. "Believe it or not... baby Shawn Hunter was crushing on you." Shawn says jokingly. Lucy smiles as she can't peel her eyes off of Shawn. "Shawn! You're missing the guy getting his head cut off!" Cory yelled from the other room. "No way!" Shawn screamed in response. He frantically jumped off the counter as he sprinted into the other room. Lucy laughed as she took a deep breath. It hurt loving him and knowing he didn't feel the same.
