"IM A PRO AT ROLLERSKATING..... EXCUSE YOU!"

Lucy placed her roller skates on her feet as she listened to Cory and Shawn argue. Topanaga tried to get them to stop arguing over who was better at skating but it wasn't working. Lucy was a little surprised Shawn didn't invite a girl to come with him to the rollerskating rink. "Lucy! Will you tell Cory that I am a better skater than him?" Shawn asked Lucy as he nudged her arm. She looked up at Cory and then back at Shawn. She shook her head before standing up and walking away from both of them. Shawn quickly followed after her. "I can't wait to blow right past you on the rink." Shawn teases her. "You wish you could keep up with me Hunter!" Lucy replied sharply as she turned to look at him. "I could race circles around you." Shawn tells her in a cocky tone. Their eyes locked causing Lucy's breath to get caught in her throat.

"You're on Hunter!" Lucy yells as she steps onto the rink. She immediately starts skating as fast as she can away from him. "You had a head start!" Shawn screamed as he started skating after her. Topanaga smiled as she watched Shawn chase after Lucy. "They are cute together." Topanaga muttered as she looked over at Cory. "Who? Them! No.... they are just friends." Cory replies sharply. Shawn caught up to Lucy and skated directly next to her. He reached across and placed his two hands on her waist and tickled her before pulling his hands away. She squealed as she smacked his arm away. "You scared me! I am going to kill you!" She yelled at him. Shawn turned to face her as he skated backwards. He had a huge smile stuck on his face as he shrugged his shoulders. "Oops.... guess you will just have to catch me to kill me!" He yells flirtatiously as he skates away quickly. He loved making her mad and he knew how competitive she was. She skated after him and the minute she caught up to him she pushed his shoulder as hard as she could. Shawn laughed as he looked over at her.

"Did you use all of your strength on that one?" Shawn asks her sarcastically. "Shut up!" Lucy yells back as her face gets red. Shawn winked at her before skating away. She groaned in annoyance before skating after him. "Normal people skate slowly!" Cory yells at them as they whiz past him. A good song started playing in the rink causing Lucy to start dancing as she skated. She skated past Shawn as she smacked his head. "Oww!" He groaned as he fixed his hair. "Too slow!" Lucy teased him as she skated away. Shawn just laughed as he watched her skate and groove to the music. He couldn't help but smile as he chased after her. Lucy started screaming the lyrics as she turned around and started skating backwards. "You're so slow I can beat you even while I'm skating backwards!" Lucy yelled at Shawn hoping to make him mad. He immediately started skating faster. When he caught up to Lucy he put his skate directly in front of her foot. Lucy immediately lost her balance as she tripped into Shawns shoe. Shawns foot gave out causing them both to fall onto the floor. Lucy landed directly on top of Shawn causing him to groan. "You tripped me!" Lucy yelled in disbelief. "Yep." Shawn muttered as he winced in pain. "But you being the idiot you are also tripped yourself!" Lucy teases him as she laughs. She then realized the position they were in. Lucy's body was pressed directly on top of Shawn. Lucy's eyes locked with Shawn as his face was inches away from her face.

"You guys alright?" Cory asked them as he skated over to them. Lucy frantically pushed her body off of Shawn as she nodded her head. "He tripped me." Lucy explains to Cory. Shawn grabs Lucy's hands and helps her stand up. "Can we skate like normal people?" Shawn asks her softly. "Us? Normal people? Pff." Lucy replies sarcastically. Shawn shakes his head as he extends his hand over to her. Lucy looks down at his hand. "Come on Luc... hold my hand." He tells her softly. Lucy nervously takes his hand as they both start skating side by side. Lucy felt butterflies in her stomach as Shawns hand remained holding hers. Shawn couldn't help but look over at Lucy. He couldn't keep his eyes off of her. It was like she was hypnotizing him. She made his stomach feel a weird way and he didn't like it. Lucy felt Shawns eyes on her causing her to look over at him. Their eyes met for a split second before Lucy instantly looked away.

"I think I proved I am a faster skater." Shawn mutters playfully. Lucy rolled her eyes as she shook her and looked over at him. "In your dreams Hunter." She replied sharply. "I will give you some credit... you are the only person who has been able to keep up with me." Shawn tells her truthfully. "Wow I am so honored." Lucy replies sarcastically. "I am the fastest skater of all time." Shawn says in a cocky tone. "Fastest... no.... cutest... maybe." Lucy says softly unaware that she said those words out loud. Shawn stopped skating causing Lucy to slow down. "You think I'm cute?" He asked her flirtatiously as a smile formed on his face. "I said that out loud." Lucy blurts as she puts a hand over her mouth. Shawn laughed as her face got very red. "You just admitted you think I'm cute!" Shawn yelled loudly. "Shut up... it was a joke." Lucy mumbles nervously. "I hope you know I will never forget this." Shawn teases her. Lucy groans as she tries to skate away but her hand is still holding Shawns hand causing him to yank her backwards. She nearly fell but Shawn steadied her body by placing his hands on her waist. "It's all good because I think you're cute too." Shawn whispers flirtatiously in her ear. He releases his hands from her waist and quickly skates away leaving her speechless. "Also you said some funny stuff when you were drunk!" Shawn yells across the rink. Lucy's eyes widen as she tries to remember the night of the party but she couldn't. She could only wonder what she told him.
