"CORY! HURRY UP! WE HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR OVER A YEAR TO GO TO THIS CARNIVAL!"

Shawn, Lucy and Topanaga were impatiently waiting for Corey at the bottom of the stairs. Shawn was leaning against the railing as his eyes were glued on Lucy. She was wearing a blue tank top with black shorts. Her sunglasses were sitting on the top of her head as she talked to Topanaga. "Will you put sunblock on my back?" Shawn asks her flirtatiously as he hands her the bottle. "Do it yourself! You are literally going to be wearing that shirt so why would you need sunblock on an area that is covered?" Lucy asks him in an annoyed tone. Shawn just shrugged as his eyes locked with Lucy's eyes. "Will you put sunblock on my face?" He asks her playfully. Lucy rolled her eyes in annoyance as she grabbed the bottle from him. "You are so high maintenance." Lucy muttered as she placed the sunblock on her hand. She gently rubbed the sunblock on Shawns face. She tried to focus on covering his entire face but she couldn't help but stare at his eyes. They were so captivating and Lucy felt like her heart was beating out of her chest. She was so close to him and he was staring right at her. "Cory! What is taking so long?" Topanga yelled up the stairs. Lucy pulled her hands away from Shawns face as she turned her attention to Topanga. "I don't have the patience for this." Lucy groans as she leans back. She didn't realize Shawn was so close to her causing her back to hit his chest. She nervously took a step closer to Topanga as she could sense Shawns presence behind her.

The sound of footsteps and someone coughing caused all of them to turn their attention to the top of the stairs. Cory was walking slowly down the stairs as he had a bucket in his hand. "I'm coming..." Cory says in a weak voice. To say he looked rough was an understatement. He looked like he was going to puke at any moment. "You look like shit." Shawn says abruptly causing Lucy to smack his arm. "Shawns right... you look awful Cory! Are you sick?" Topanga asks him in a concerned tone. "I'm fine... I want to go ride the tube funnel at Super world." Cory says as he starts coughing. "Please don't puke in front of me." Shawn groaned as he hid his face in Lucy's shoulder. "You are not going anywhere Cory!" Topanga yells at him. "Oh come on Topanga! We have been wanting to go to super world for over a year! We have to go." Shawn yells in disbelief. "You guys go without me... I'm just gonna take a little nap right here." Cory says weakly as he lays down on the stairs. "I'm not leaving you Cory..." Topanga says sharply as she kneels down beside him. "I'm totally okay with leaving you." Shawn says as he starts to walk away. Lucy grabs his arm as she drags him back to the staircase. "We can all stay here and have a fun day with you Cory." Lucy says softly. "No.. I don't want to ruin your day... go without me." Cory says in a weak tone. "Wooohoooo! Let's go!" Shawn yells as he grabs Lucy's hand and yanks it up into the air.

"You sure you guys are okay if we go?" Lucy asks Topanga and Cory. "Yeah.. go.. I'll stay and take care of him." Topanga tells him softly. "I'm driving." Shawn says in an excited tone as he grabs the car keys. "Don't we want to make it there in one piece though?" Lucy asks him sarcastically. Shawn stuck his tongue out at her causing her to immediately stick her tongue out at him. Lucy and Shawn walk out the door and head to Shawns car. Lucy realized that she was going to spend the entire day with Shawn and only Shawn. She felt a nervousness overtake her body. Shawn opened her car door for her as he gestured for her to get in. She gave him a soft smile as she got in. Shawn got into the car as he had an excited look on his face. "Let's go baby!" Shawn yells as he starts driving. Lucy couldn't help but stare at Shawn as he drove. She watched as his veiny hands turned the steering wheel. She quickly looked away from him as she felt butterflies in her stomach. She hated how attractive he was. Shawn was thrilled to be able to spend the day with Lucy. He kept thinking about how cute she looked.

"Do you know where you are going?" Lucy asked him curiously as she watched him go down a strange road. "Of course I know." Shawn replied in a carefree tone. Shawn had no idea where he was going but he wasn't about to admit it. "I brought my camera! So say cheese!" Lucy yells in an excited tone as she pulls out her camera. "You just love taking pictures of me." Shawn teases her. He notices her cheeks get pink causing a smirk to form on his face. Shawn dropped one of his hands off of the steering wheel and placed it in his lap. He didn't even think about what he was doing as he placed his hand on Lucy's thigh. Lucy didn't feel herself breathe as she looked down at Shawns hand. What was he doing to her? Did he know how he made her feel? "You look pretty." Shawn compliments her as he looks over at her. "Oh.... thanks." Lucy replies nervously. Shawn nodded as he ran his hand through his hair. Lucy loved looking at his hair. It was probably one of her favorite things about him. Shawn didn't remove his hand from Lucy's leg causing butterflies to swarm in Lucy's stomach. Shawn couldn't stop looking over at Lucy. He liked when she wore her hair down and he loved how she nervously played with the necklace dangling down her shirt.

"Are you sure you know where you are going?" Lucy asked Shawn sharply. He quickly turned his attention back to the road. "Yeah... trust me." Shawn tries to reassure her. "We have passed that sign three times now." Lucy says sharply as she points at a sign. Shawns eyes widen as he realized he recognized the area they were in. "I actually don't know how to get there." Shawn says as he awkwardly chuckles. "I knew it!" Lucy yells dramatically. "How hard could it possibly be to find this place? It's only a thirty minute drive." Shawn says playfully. "You are so stupid." Lucy mutters as she tries to read the signs on the side of the road. They were in the middle of no where and everywhere they looked they were surrounded by trees. "Maybe but you still love me." Shawn says flirtatiously as he leans over towards her. He got his face close to her face as she was trying to focus on the signs. "That has nothing to do with your dumbass getting lost." Lucy replies sharply as she shoves his head away. Shawn laughs as she ruffles his hair with her hand. "This wouldn't have happened if Topanga was here." Lucy mutters as panic fills her voice.

"Maybe you should have looked up the directions before we got into the car." Shawn teases her. "You told me you knew where you were going! What kind of an idiot starts driving without knowing where he is going!" Lucy yells angrily as she turns to face him. "We both know I'm the kind of idiot that would do that!" Shawn yells back as his face gets closer to her. Their eyes locked as Lucy felt herself take a deep breath. "Deer! Shawn!" Lucy screamed as she pointed out the window. Shawn quickly grabbed the wheel and steered the car around a deer. Lucy held onto Shawns arm for dear life. "Phew... that was a close one...." Shawn says jokingly. "I'm going to die... reason of death... Shawn Hunter being a absolute idiot!" Lucy yelled in annoyance. "I love you." Shawn says jokingly. Lucy scoffs in annoyance as she looks away from him and out the window. "We could stop and ask someone for directions." Shawn says in a hopeful tone. "We are in the middle of nowhere! Who are we going to ask, that deer you almost hit?" Lucy replies sharply as she looks over at Shawn. "Did I ever tell you that you look hot when you are mad at me?" Shawn asks her seductively. "You are unbelievable." Lucy huffs in frustration.
