(A Shared Moment)

"I LET LUCY DO ALL OF THE WORK!"

Shawn Hunter couldn't help but laugh as he replayed the previous encounter with Lucy through his head. He was so nervous when he was around her. His eyes landed on the poster that was still sitting on his table. Lucy had forgotten it probably due to how quickly she rushed out of there after slamming her head on his table. Shawn picked up the poster and decided he was going to walk it over to her house. It was an excuse to see her again and Shawn had nothing better to do. "Where you going Shawn?" Mr. Hunter asked his son as Shawn walked towards the door. "The Matthew's house." Shawn tells his dad as he heads out the door. "You going to see that girl or Cory?" His dad asked him curiously. Shawn didn't answer as he walked out the door causing his dad to laugh. Shawn looked down at the poster and couldn't help but smile as he thought about Lucy. When he arrived at the Mathews house he didn't even knocked he just walked in.

"Shawn! What are you doing here?" Cory asked him curiously. "Lucy forgot her poster at my house... I'm just going to give it to her." Shawn tells his friend. Cory was sitting on the couch watching a movie with Topanga. "She's up in her room." Cory tells Shawn as he puts his attention back on Topanga. Shawn glanced at the couple causing his heart to ache. He wanted what they had. He wanted a real connection with someone. He walked up the stairs to Lucy's room. He heard loud music blasting from her room. When he arrived at her door he gently knocked on it. He knew she probably couldn't hear him knocking over the loud music. He slowly opened the door as he nervously peeked inside. His eyes landed on Lucy. He felt a smile form on his face as he realized she was dancing around her room. She was in her pajamas and she was dancing as hard as she possibly could to the music. Shawn leaned against the door frame as he stared at her in awe. He had never seen someone look so beautiful in his entire life and she was only in her pjs. He was mesmerized by how pretty she was and how adorable she looked dancing her heart out. He couldn't take his eyes off of her as she danced around her room.

Lucy was in her own world as she continued to dance. She did moves she would never do in front of anyone. She moved her hands up and down her body as she felt confident and Shawn could practically feel the drool spilling out of his mouth. Lucy turned around causing her eyes to land on Shawn Hunter staring at her. She screamed due to the boy catching her completely off guard. "What the hell?" She yelled at him as she turned off her music. "You Uh..... you forgot your poster." Shawn stutters as he holds up the project. "You could have just left it on the table.... how long were you standing there?" Lucy asked him sharply. "Not long... I didn't want to interrupt you... you were having a full on concert." Shawn teased her as he smirked at her. Lucy rolled her eyes as Shawn handed her the poster and stepped into her room. No matter how many times he would go into her room it always made him nervous. Lucy knew her face was red because she was so embarrassed. Shawn ran a hand through his hair as he kept his eyes on her. Lucy hated when he would touch his hair... it was like he knew she was so attracted to him and everytime he did that he made her heart melt.

"Shouldn't we like add some color to the poster." Shawn offers as he looks down at the poster. He really just wanted to have an excuse to stay with her longer. "Yeah...... here... I have some markers." Lucy mutters as she sets the poster down. Shawn sat down on the ground as Lucy grabbed her markers. Lucy sat down directly next to Shawn as she handed him some markers. "Do you think you can handle coloring it in?" She asked him sarcastically. "As long as you don't make do a math problem.. we should be fine." Shawn reassured her as he laughed. They both started coloring in the poster as their bodies were inches away from each other. Lucy could see her hand shaking due to how nervous she was because she was so close to Shawn. Every so often their hands would accidentally collide sending chills through their bodies. Shawn kept glancing over at Lucy and every time he looked at her he was unable to breath. He was so struck by how beautiful she was he seemed to forget to breathe. Lucy was focusing on coloring in the words when she felt Shawn grab her hand.

Her heart stopped as she looked up at Shawn. "Your hands shaking.... and their freezing." Shawn whispers as their eyes locked. "I... my hands are always cold." Lucy stutters as her eyes stare into Shawns beautiful blue eyes. "Why are they shaking?" He asks her softly. "You make me nervous." Lucy blurts out and the moment the words leave her mouth she immediately puts her hands over her mouth. A smirk formed on Shawns face as he laughed at her. "Why do I make you nervous?" Shawn asked her flirtatiously as he looked into her eyes again. "Because...... your Shawn Hunter." Lucy whispers in response as she gets lost in his eyes. "What's that supposed to mean?" Shawn asks her curiously. With every word he inches closer to her. Lucy could practically hear her heart pounding. "The way you talk to girls... the way you flirt with every female... it makes us nervous." Lucy stutters as Shawns face is inches away from hers.

"I'll let you in on a little secret... I only talk and flirt with you like this." Shawn whispers to her. Lucy nervously takes a deep breath as Shawns eyes glance down at her lips. Shawn knew in that moment that he was going to kiss her for real this time. No turning back. He closed his eyes to lean in when.... "Oww!" Lucy screamed as her door flung open hitting her straight in the back. "I'm tired! Get out!" Morgan screamed in a bossy tone. Shawn awkwardly stood up as he ran a hand through his hair. "I'll see you... tomorrow." He stutters as he quickly walks out of her room. "Bye!" Lucy yells awkwardly. She watched as Shawn left and she wanted to scream. He was about to kiss her. Shawn Hunter was about to kiss her. Holy shit. But Shawn kissed everyone. She knew he just wanted to check off another girl off his list and that she meant nothing to him. She felt helpless as she realized Shawn Hunter would never have real feelings for her. She knew she couldn't let him kiss her because it would only make her fall harder for someone who didn't feel the same way.
