It's been a while since I did anything like this so here ya go

Nightmare

- his eye is hypersensitive to light

- his night vision is very strong, so he used his magic to make the AU he uses to house the mansion permanently night, however it messed with how the moonlight looks and now it's always a blueish silver

- back in OG Dreamtale he was simply a ghost who followed Passive (who's now the ghost, but like just sleeps half the time)

-he found Cross' hentai collection once, safe to say he also found a new personal hero that day

- he can make chirping and chortling noises like an animal, especially when surprised, uncomfortable, or confused, occasionally when feeling very happy he'll make sounds as well

-When overly excited his tentacles slap together with a clapping noise, he finds this really embarrassing and not at all professional

-He is a professional. He tries his best to stay like that, but sometimes he just can't help it

-When he gets really sad or angry he melts himself into random places in the mansion. A few of those places are a vent, a cabinet, Killer's pants drawer, underneath the couch, and inside of Dust's hood (Dust did not mind, it was more like secret cuddles than anything

-Hides in cabinets more often than not, he simply just, enjoys being in them, it constantly scares everyone

Error:

- He does not, in fact need glasses, he actually has dyslexia

- He goes to Nightmare's mansion if he has any needs that require a house, like showering, or using the kitchen

- His glitches, while occasionally painful, normally just fizz in his nonexistent ears, which makes it hard to listen to quiet things but other than that it doesn't bother him

- since his sight and hearing are messed up his sense of touch was over sensitive, which was probably the cause of his Haphephobia at first

Cross:

-he tries his hardest to be a soldier and holds himself together even when with the Murder Time Trio (who are the funniest bitches ever, fight me)

-always wears his 'mask' (it's actually just his scarf pulled over his mouth)

-his body is covered in scars and he's very sensitive about them

-Nightmare 'forced' him to absorb another human soul, freeing Chara while still keeping his powers, Chara was immediately killed

-sometimes Cross misses Chara, but he prefers not having them around

-Has taken a liking to Dust and tries his best to be borderline friendly to him

-barely ever emotes, and when he does they're normal minuscule

Dust:

- has Tourrettes Syndrome stemming from his high LV

- his tics are minor since he's on a fuck ton of Meds for them but they still happen

- some of his tics are arm jerks, yelling 'Gay', and smashing anything he's holding.

(I have a friend who has tics, they have the 'Gay' tic, which is where I got this from)

-He naturally has a resting bitch face, and hardly ever emotes, though has issues regulating his volume and will find himself yelling or whispering instead of speaking normally

Horror:

-Has to take magic and vitamin supplements in order to keep his magic in a functional state

Random world building I guess:

- The Dreamtale villagers all had first, last, and middle names, so since the twins didn't have last or middle names, they were given them. Their last name was Joku, Dream's middle name was Dawn, and Nightmare's was... Felicity

Dream still uses it to call him out on the battle field "FELICITY, GIVE UP" no one but Nightmare knows who the hell he's talking to

- Monster's used to have the ability to LVL up past 20, but the soul requires more energy and care to do so, leading to certain monsters getting extremely malnourished from their forms gaining too much EXP.

Since LV also comes with negative side effects (Extra limbs/additions to the body, higher body heat, and unexplained mental illness and disabilities) a few select monsters completely snapped and went on mindless killing sprees, leading to them being detained and killed.

Monsters were trained for this, leading to the first Royal Guard, and the new titles Head of the Royal Guard and Royal Judge. The Judge chose which high LV monsters should live and have rehabilitation or die as they were too far gone.

Monsters soon evolved a 'LVL Cap' and they could no longer gain LV higher than 20, certain monsters who were alive back then still live without said Caps (Said monsters being All the Monster Gods in ReaperTale, Error, Ink, KM, 404, Alpha, Infected, and the DreamTale twins)

The Twins are actually too young to naturally not have the Cap, but because of their magic's strange nature they are exempt from LV, EXP, and other magic limits.

Human bodies are not made to contain that much power, and because of that their LV Caps at 20 as well.

- souls can be bound together in certain ways using ceremonies and oaths. Human Mages first found this out and they were originally used for marriages but eventually Monsters found other ways they could use it, like oaths of loyalty or bonds between family.

Said ceremonies create a link between two or more souls, the link severing in a painful manner if a certain monster ever does anything that goes against the way the bond was made.

Like if a monster got a bond when married, then cheated, that monster would feel crippling pain, and it may even come at the price of a limb

The other monster does not feel any pain but rather an uncomfortable feeling, telling them their 'bondmate' has betrayed them

Yes, only monsters can have bonds like this, but it's where humans got their wedding ceremonies from.

-pure emotional magic is coloured an electric blue, just like Dream's arrows (pure positivity) and Corrupted!Nightmare's magic (pure negativity) minor concentrations of said magic would be yellow or purple, respectively
