~Previously~
"We always knew you were weird!" someone from the crowd laughed, causing everyone to burst into laughter, and the sword faced them, "Do not call Master weird! I have seen the way you have treated Master! She is superior to all of you! Do you not know who I am?! I am the Forever Sword!" it's voice became one hundred times louder, and everyone fell silent.
~Now~
Everyone fell completely silent. Before anyone could say anything, or even blink, the sword was gone, along with the girl.
~Somewhere~
"Sir, you might wanna check this out..." a soldier saluted his general, who rolled his eyes, bored. "What is it?" "Uh... the Forever sword-" "WHAT?!" the general questioned, making the soldier gulp, "Y-Yeah, the forever sword... and this young girl." "You had better not be joking. Because if you are joking, you know exactly what will happen to you." the general reminded the now quivering soldier, "Yes, Sir..."
The general walked silently through four passages, before reaching a room, where a girl was sitting on the floor, watching a sword cry. (Not literally, just imagine this expression randomly appearing on the sword T_T. Oh- this was a serious moment... hehe)
"Who are you?" the general asked the girl who looked up, and the sword faced them, "She is my Master. Who are you?" the sword questioned, "-_- I am the general of this... army..."
There was a small silence before the girl asked, "Could I please go home?" "First, I would like you to tell me how you extracted this... sword from its book-" "She has an extremely patient heart. I stayed with her for a long time, watching as she was bullied and made fun of. She did not lash out like most of the other people here would have. She remained patient and also has a strong, compassionate side to her as well. After a couple weeks, I was freed from the book. I am now at Master's service." the sword interrupted, very suspicious of this character.
"Hmph. You may leave." the general saw them out, and the sword had a very strange feeling about this person..
~End Of Flashback~
"Well, she was right then, wasn't she? I wasn't exactly the most trustworthy person at the time, was I now?" the creature smirked, knowing exactly why the sword had kept a close... err... eye?- On him.
"Of course, it was extremely hard to target the victim..." the creature muttered angrily, remembering all of his failed attempts. "And when he found out... it was even worse... thank goodness I had a back-up plan." he cackled cruelly, and the monsters that were beside him shivered at the familiar sound they heard- not often- but it was enough to make them remember the last time they heard that laugh.
"And I still have the victim targeted... especially since their father is out of the way..." the creature wiped a tear of laughter, remembering the exact words of the miserable soldier he killed around two hundred years before.
~Flashback WARNING: If you dislike blood, skip the third paragraph~
"What is she to you?!" "Everything, and besides, I don't even care about who the girl is, she is only being targeted so we- I mean, I can finally get what I've wanted for five hundred years..." a golden sword was pointed at a male, black puffball, who was staring angrily, but disbelieving at his commander.
"I'm sure even you must know by now the wielder can just hand over the sword to another." the black puffball snapped, glancing occasionally at his mask that had been thrown to the side carelessly. "But the sword must deem the person 'worthy'. I have no idea why it must have such conditions, as the general, and the commander who else could be more worthy than I? And the fact it was a young girl is really pathetic."
"It's right that you, least of all, can't wield it. You're as bad as Nightmare!" and those were the male's final words, before the sword was plunged into his stomach, and then pulled out, blood pouring out uncontrollably. "Wrong once more. I'm ten times worse..." was the last thing the dying puffball heard, before seeing darkness surround him.
~End Of Flashback~
"Sir! May we speak with you, Sir!" a monster entered, and their leader looked at him, "What?" "Madame Flix has some informa-" "I think I'll say what I've discovered, thank you. Now go and do something. Years of service, and you idiots still can't clean the windows properly." "Why don't you try...?" the monster muttered angrily, and then was turned to ice, "I would... but you know the better ones should be doing all the chores. Especially muwah. I have talent, skill, strategy, and foresight, and what do you have, may I ask? Oh, that's right! Nothing." a tall, 'elegant-looking' woman entered.
"What do you want, human." the creature at the head of the room questioned impatiently, "Well! I understand you might be my Master, but really, perhaps I should check up on you more often..." the woman shivered, rearranging her exaggerating feather boa to calm her nerves.
"Well? Does it look like I have all day?" "Do you not? I'll speak when you're free, then." the woman was about to sway out, when the 'Master' said angrily, "I'll say this once, and not another time more, what do you want."
"Much more like it!" the woman smiled evilly, throwing her arms to the sides, exaggerating her happiness. "You know that... marshmallow you've been pursuing?" the woman paused, looking at her master absent mindedly. "What about her?" "I found her location~..." she said, pausing to just to get angry reactions out of her small master.
"Flix, if you do not want to reveal what information you have which is useful, I may as well let those dark secrets out again, should I?" the creature threatened, taking a red jewel out, and Madame Flix shrunk back, afraid, "Very well! After Nightmare's def- I meant victory!" the Madame said in defense, laughing a very peculiar, tinkling laugh.
"You know Star Knight escaped... and I had stayed in my chambers until then. I was not ill, sick, whatever you want to call it." she shot a sharp, hateful glare at the other monsters surrounding the room, making them gulp shamefully. "I was trying to foresee which location she had flown to. And she is actually..." the Madame took out a blue, shiny, brass compass, and held the dangling chain, before letting the object twirl dangerously around her finger, "-Where we- I predicted." she finished, knowing that Master would understand now.
"Dreamland... of course..." her Master nodded, understanding. "And if we attack now- especially since her wings are-" she started laughing, and wiped a tear from laughing exaggeratively and hard, "Broken. Or at least, temporarily. She crashed onto her face! Oh my nova, I can't imagine how her expression and dignity felt then!" Madame Flix was practically falling to her knees with laughter.
"FLIX!" the creature boomed, making her return to her normal composure. "I want you to give the head ninji the exact location. And fire an attack. And for doing... some good to this project- you may." the creature nodded, making the Madame squeal happily, "Yes, yes, yes!" she made her way over to her Master, who took out a crystal, and threw it to the ground, making the monsters gasp, whilst the Madame cackled gleefully.
A white and blue light intertwined with each other, and surrounded the laughing human. After they had vanished, the woman was a completely different person! Her personality was still the same, but her looks had changed.
Instead of black, rough hair, it was a dark, but light, indigo. It swayed and the silky shine made it as though her hair had always been like this. Her clothes weren't the old robe and long sleeves, but now fitted her perfectly, and she now was wearing a blue dress underneath, with a short skirt that went just below her knees. Black tights and crystal shoes had appeared on her legs and feet as well.
"Thank you so much! Finally! I don't look like I was in a rainstorm for centuries!" the woman looked at her reflection in the glass walls, pulling at her cheeks and the space between the eyes and ears for any more wrinkles. "Well, disappoint me, and you won't like the outcome." her Master said, and she nodded, before swaying out happily.
"Thank goodness she's gone. All that positiveness was giving me a dreadful headache..." the creature rolled his eyes, and the other monsters laughed.
