~Lockra's POV~

"That Meta Knight is so vulnerable. He's already doubting himself and all it took was me infecting his mind... that memory may have helped to remember me, but the battle between us was horrifying, so he must've tried to forget the actual battle altogether." I mutter, smug with pride.

Meta Knight is on this... cliff? I actually can't tell, there's snow everywhere. How can you tell when the area is a cliff or an actually flat surface?

It's getting too cold for me now... I'm actually freezing over... time for me to go! *Teleports*

~No One's POV~

Meta Knight sighed and cast a glance over at the small opening of a cave a metre away from him. He got up and trudged towards it, and once inside, he sat against the cave wall, listening to the snow that was falling, and wrapped his cape around himself tightly.

It was cold... but his cape was all he needed.

~Somewhere around the area~

"I like this, poyo. It's so comfy." Kirby snuggled into the cape Star had let him borrow. "It's the one I used to give you when you were younger. I always kept it with me, in case you would need it again." Star laughed as Kirby tripped over it and she helped him up.

"I wish I was still a baby." Kirby said suddenly, "And why's that? That last thing I need is you inhaling everything." Star smiled, and he shook his head, "Nope! So that you can put me to bed like you did when I was younger." he said mischievously, "Of course, you couldn't resist when I stayed up just for you, could you?" she slowed her pace so Kirby could catch up.

"Will I ever get a cape, poyo?" Kirby asked, "Hmm, it depends. Me and a couple others got it from wielding sacred swords at such a young age, sometimes they just appear, or sometimes you get it gifted to you by someone." Star explained. "Poya, that's a lot of things to remember..."

"Star? Maybe Meta Knight isn't here. It's too cold for someone to sit here." Kirby shivered and pulled the cape around him more. "Exactly. Which is why this place would be the last one to check."

"Can we rest for a bit though, the snow is getting faster?!" "Kirby, where could we rest?" Star huffed, trying to see in the distance. "Ooh, how about over there?" Kirby points to a... cave?

Star shrugs and then tells him how to warp with the cape she lent him. Once they warp, Star sighed and said, "We'll look for Meta Knight once the snow has calmed down. Which'll probably take two or three minutes..."

"That won't be necessary..." "YAH! POYO! What?! What are you doing in here?!" Kirby screamed, and Star just about swallowed her shriek.

"Thinking." "Why couldn't you think in the castle, poy? Like you always do?" Kirby asked, but Star shook her head, signalling not to continue. Poor Kirby didn't understand why Meta Knight had run off to White Wafers.

"I am a danger to everyone else. How do you think I am safe to be around even after you learnt I was half vampire? I am a monster inside." Meta Knight asked, tone dull and heartless.

"Poyo. You'll never be a monster, Meta! You're our friend! Besides, you've been able to drive off Dark Matter by looking at it! That means you can stop the... vampire stuff as well!" Kirby encourages, and Star smiles at Kirby's innocence.

"Dark Matter is different. That is something that can be defeated from the outside. Not this. This is on the inside."

"Meta Knight. Looking at the negative side will make you feel worse. Look at the positive side. Have you done anything considered wrong?" Star asked, and he was silent. "See, poya! You're not evil or bad!" "But even if we have everything sorted... we're going nowhere for the next half an hour." Meta Knight looked outside, and the other two followed his gaze.

"Poyo... how do we tell the others that we're not going to come back for a bit?" Kirby asked, worried. Star smiled, "That's no problem." she said, taking out her warpstar, and brought out a pen and paper from her cape. 'Snow is really heavy. We'll be back in around half an hour. If not, then I'll send another message. Star, Kirby and Meta Knight.'

She folded the paper and attached it to her warpstar and sent it on its way. "Wow, poyo. How did you do that?" "Warpstars are very reliable. I'll show you how to use yours in different ways once we get back." Star cast an amused glance as Kirby sat down in the cape and snuggled into it further for warmth.

"Poy... why did we have to come here on Snowfall day?" Kirby whined, and the other two looked at him, confused. "Didn't you know? One day, every month, there is one day where snow falls all day. And when it does, it snows a lot. So we might have to stay here all night!" Kirby shrugged.

"Kirby. Why did you not tell me this before?" Star asked, "I didn't know it was today. It happens randomly. But Snowfall day always happens one day a month, but the day isn't... uh..." "Specified?"

"Yeah!" Star shook her head and waited for her warpstar to get back. The others must be taking ages to reply, because the warpstar would've got to the castle only a minute after she sent it.

~Timeskip~

The snow was much more heavy, and not even a creature fit for snow could walk or even run through it! Kirby shivered in the cape, and Star was pacing up and down, waiting for the warpstar. "Star, you should sit." "Nope. Too impatient." she shook her head, but eventually sat down, feeling warm from pacing for the last five minutes.

Soon, Kirby couldn't resist his sleepiness, and fell asleep. Meta Knight went over and sat next to him, and Star's warpstar flew in.

It was covered in frost, but was still glowing with energy. 'No, you'll be back tomorrow. According to Mr Know-It-All penguin... today's some snowfall day or something. See you tomorrow! I swear I won't try and kill Magolor. Or I might. I can't keep promises. Galacta.'

"Oh, well that's very reassuring!" Star sighed, and put the warpstar in her cape. She sat down, wondering what they were supposed to do for the remaining... five hours... wow. But Star did not think, 'Wow' she thought, 'T_T five hours of boredom...'

Kirby would have no problem in five hours. He could literally sleep the whole time. Unfortunately, the same couldn't be said for the other two. 1. They were adults. 2. They both had sleep issues.

Star could picture herself sleeping, and shuddered if she woke up stunned by another nightmare. No way did she want to look like a clown in front of these two. But what choice did she have? If she tried to warp, she's only be able to go a bit of a distance, not much.

In the end she gave up, and just sat there, staring at the floor, wondering about nova knows what...
