Returning... Kirby Fanfic (OLD)

~Part 8~

~Star Knight's POV~

It took a bit of persuasion, but I got Misty to agree to go to Starry Kingdom. I'm not sure why she despises it so much, but she's coming now, so... yes.

We finally arrived to the Starry Kingdom, it took around five minutes, giving King DDD, Kirby and Bandana Waddle Dee were travelling on the warpstar, but the rest of us warped within two minutes.

"Thank goodness you arrived ASAP!" a woman scurried towards us. "I know this was on such brief notice, but I really, really need your help!" she babbled. And another young woman had run after her. 

"Y-Your majesty, we don't n-" "😡," "'0-0... 😁😅," "As I was saying..." the Queen looked at us again, "There's some really strange... erm... purple jelly going around the streets, and there's also some hexs' placed on our grounds... please could you help us?" she asked urgently.

Kirby laughed, "Why do you think we came here, poyo?" "Uh... who're you little one?" the Queen asked, sweat dropping. "0O0, I am Kirby! Protector of everybody!" Kirby said. 

The Queen apologised hastily and then left to get the servants and everyone else to safety. 

"Poyo... what'd we do?" "Kirby, I think sometimes you're too stupid." King DDD scoffed, getting his hammer out. "Huh, what's that me-" "Nothing. Now... where is that matter?" Galacta interrupted, and a couple seconds later, an enormous monster of Dark Matter appeared.

'So... you fell into our trap, Star Knight. Wait. Why are the rest of you here? You are all insignificant! None of you matter!' it says, laughing at the last part of its statement. And everyone looked at me, and I did not move. 

'Speechless, are you? You didn't know something for once. Is it really killing you? Master was correct about how much po- YAGHRHJFHSKJSA!' It screamed. I smirked under my mask as my sword continued to slash at the squirming, hideous creature.

'Flix and Ninji better have a better plan. Those idiots put me up to this fo- OW YOU STUPID THING!- FOR NOTHING!' The Dark Matter continued to hiss as the others began attacking. 

But two words rang through my head, Flix and Plan... when Madame Flix was involved in a 'plan' the consequences were never, ever pleasant.

My sword finally returned to me, exhausted from using her energy. "Master, you can start now..." she insisted, and I took the hilt and began battling the Dark Matter.

~Timeskip~

We finally defeated the Dark Matter after- "Whoo! One hour is probably a record of how long Kirby's has taken to beat a monster." the King sniggered, and Kirby huffed, "Actually, it should've taken less time because I had five people helping me poyo... so it must've been you who slowed us down!" he said smugly.

Before the King could reply, the Queen was rushing down the steps to greet us. "Thank you, thank you, thank you, sososososo much!" she said hastily. "It was no problem, poya! We should go back home now, poyo!" he added, turning around. 

"Oh, do stay! I can't possibly just let you leave after what you've done! The servants already pre-" "Yeah, no. I think we'll just quickly be on our way. We don't want to cause you any trouble!" Galacta said, shoving Kirby towards the exit. "I insist!" the Queen said, clapping her hands and then the doors closed.

"YAY POYO FOOOOOOOOOD!" Kirby was about to unleash his hyper-ness, but I thankfully caught him in time. "Kirby..." I said sternly, and he laughed nervously, "Kay, poyo..."

"Right! I do believe I haven't had the pleasure of knowing your names! Please do say!" she said, and another girl had appeared by her side, "Oh- this is my best friend, Allie." she added, pushing the girl forward. I could tell instantly that she wasn't very talkative.
