Returning... Kirby Fanfic (OLD)

~Part 27~

~Star's POV~

After everyone was sure I was fine, and Misty also prevented them from forcing me back to bed- I went outside and watched the sun sink in the sea. 

Hopefully, there won't be any excitement now... because the second I escaped Nightmare's base I was chased and then havoc and chaos erupted everywhere. 

All I wish for now is relaxation and peace. "Poyo!!! I didn't eat your lunch, King DDD!" Kirby ran past, and King DDD was chasing him, "LIARRRRRRRRRRR!" "*Triggered* You'd better leave Kirby alone..." Galacta says, pulling out her lance and then Kirby and her chase the King instead.

"Could those three be any more loud?" Meta Knight asks, "If we point it out, then yes." Falspar says, and Misty continues bugging me, "Master, please!" "No." "Why?" "I said so. That's why." "What's your sword begging for?" Nonsurat asks, "She wants to know what powers our Lights have. But I'm saying, no." I respond, bored.

"Poy! I wanna see!" Kirby walks up to us. "Yeah, why not?" Galacta questions, looking back at the King, who is lying on the floor with Bandana running past him and watching what we're talking about.

"Fine..." I give in. "Unfortunately, Nightmare rid of our Light when he once captured us..." Sir Arthur indicated to himself, Falspar, Nonsurat and Dragato. 

"Probably turned it into ever-lasting darkness... anyway, Kirby can go first." "Who do I test it on, poy?" "Test it on me." Galacta shrugs, "Kay." Kirby says, making a small ball of Light and Galacta touched it, "Ooh, I feel so happy! Why do you all look so depressed?! You should be happy-!" she stopped, as Kirby's small Light had vanished. 

"Never again am I going to let anyone test their Light on me..." she growled, and I laugh, "Aw, it wasn't bad. But I think one of your lines was reversed, we're not looking depressed, you are." "Hmph." Galacta huffed, and then let Kirby touch her Light, "Poyo... fine, DDD I did have some of your lunch... but Waddle Doo ate most of it!"

"WWWWWWWWWAAAAAAAAAAAAAADDDDDDDDDDDDLLLLLLLLLLLEEEEEEEEEEEE DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" the King screamed in the background, and Galacta's Light vanishes, "So, Kirby's Light grants happiness and Galacta's is truth." "What does yours do?" Galacta questions, and I make a small ball of Light. 

"It wipes those who I think are annoying from existence." I smirk, and Kirby makes a face. "I'm joking, I don't know." "Test it on Meta Knight. We have already tested on Kirby and I." Galacta says, probably sticking her tongue out at me.

I roll my eyes and let Meta Knight touch the Light. He doesn't have a reaction immediately... "HEY! I SWEAR YOU STAR WARRIORS ARE BEING SO... uh..." "Magolor what are you doing...?" I ask, "I came to see if you'd waken up, sleeping beauty!" he says, and Starla is behind him, yawning.

"Well, I have." I say, and he snaps his glove, "That's what I'll call you now." "No." Suddenly, Meta Knight speaks, his eyes the lightest shade of purple possible, just near white.

"I might be very distant and have an icy demeanor around all of you, but I do indeed care for you all. Even you, Magolor. But one of you I-" he breaks off, his eyes turning a bright purple, and he clears his throat, "You all heard nothing."

"Nope. We all heard that. Poyo, Star's Light is... confession?" "Compassion, love, kindness, caring, friendliness, things under that category." I correct Kirby. "Oh, poyo, Meta Knight's turn!" 

Meta Knight creates a small Light as well, and I touch it, "Why are we all just sitting around for?! There are monsters and evil to be dealt with, we shouldn't just be here messing around and being lazy! We must fight all opposing to the Light... and why don't I know what s- AHEM. I will not finish that sentence...!" I grimace at what I was going to say.

"Wisdom and bravery." "No surprise there." Galacta and Kirby laugh, and I make two balls of Light in each palm, "Let's find out your genuine feeling then~!" I threaten, and then chase after them, "Poyo! Nuu, Star's evil now!" Kirby whines, and Galacta flies upwards, and I laugh and release one ball upwards and one towards Kirby.

~Timeskip~

All that excitement made the day a bit more light and cheerful. Kirby said some things about how he really likes us as his friends, whereas Galacta had to hold her breath and not say anything since I sent my Light at her. 

Currently, I'm in the library, reading something about some heart-melting romance legends. I never even knew they existed. 0-0. I was always more into realistic things, not legends, but these are absolutely adorable.

"Star, do you wonder if there is more evil waiting out there? I always thought Nightmare may still be alive, since him spluttering things about the Star Rod being his one weakness seemed a bit too easy of a battle... this proved me right." Meta Knight asks, peering through the library window, "Even if there is, we'll be ready. Anyway, when were you ever wrong?" "Casi nunca, mi querida amor..." he murmurs.

"Uh..." I look at him, and his eyes turn pink and then purple, "I was saying, almost never." "Oh... well then you are right once more." I smile to myself.

Who knows, another adventure could just be around the corner for all of us...
