Returning... Kirby Fanfic (OLD)

~Part 14~

~Galactic Planet~

"Finally! I found the last gear...!" "After all this time... IT WAS RIGHT THERE?! AND NONE OF US SAW IT? WHAT THE NOVA ARE WE-" "Chill for nova's sake! Sheesh, talk about going over the top. We just missed it." 

"That's all well for you both. Now go and insert the gear so we can finally make it somewhere!" the head of the two shakes his head with disapproval. "I've being studying a map of where we are now. Planet Popstar is extremely close." "How close?" "Only four hundred light years away." "Excellent work. Set the course for Popstar. I'm sure some 'friends' of ours should be able to tell us about the negative energy force. And the threat it originated from."

"Are you sure we should get straight to the questioning, Sir? They might not even be notified about it..." "Nonsense! Of course they should know. They have three Star Warriors with them. Two of them can sense danger even when it is hours before an actual attack! Please, just go ahead and set the course. We shall discuss further arrangements once we land."

~Timeskip~

"Sir, we're here! But shouldn't we go in the morning? It's like... twelve o'clock..." "Very well... all three of you rest. In the morning, everything will be quite frantic." "Yes, sir!"

~Dreamland, Popstar~

Star and the others had returned to Castle DDD at nine o'clock. Kirby was allowed to stay in the castle, and he pleaded for Star to sing him to sleep like she did when he was younger. 

"Kirby, you're much older now! You shouldn't need me to sing lullabies, you're not a baby!" Star protested, but Kirby made such an adorable face she couldn't refuse. TvT.

After Kirby finally fell asleep, Star went out of the room. She made her way into her own, and locked the door. Taking off her mask, she huffed and warped onto the bed, not bothered to even attempt to climb onto it. 🤣😆

~Timeskip~

"I give up..." Star said, throwing the cover off herself. She couldn't sleep, and even if she did manage, her dreams weren't exactly 'the best' one out there. 

She got up, and heard a hiss. Startled, she looked around, but no one/nothing was there. She collapsed onto the pillows, thinking that she was probably going insane and now hearing things.

After a couple more minutes, she finally fell asleep. 

~Kirby's POV~

~Kirby's Dream~

"Poya? Where did everyone go?" I look around, and everything looks different. Only five seconds ago, there were so many nice things happening, but everything suddenly went black and there were blurry lights.

"Hahahaha." I heard a laugh. It sounded... sinister. UwU, Galacta told me it meant evil- anyway. 

"W-Who's there, poya? I'm not afraid!" "Oh, Kirby. You're very afraid. I've known you for so long and you claim 'I'm NoT aFrAiD!' So pathetic." the voice said, and I feel cold. 

I turn around, and see Nightmare! "Poy? I thought I killed you!" "Kirby. Kirby, Kirby, Kirby. One thing you silly Star Warriors forget is that I am indestructable. And I am still alive. Or well, I am dead physically, but I have a minion who is coming, Kirby. Want to see something?" Nightmare asked, and I tried running in the opposite direction.

But there was no point, poy! He just appeared. "Look, your precious fountain, your 'source of goodness' destroyed. You can't ever permanently destroy me. Never ever ever." he said, and that remark rang through my ears horribly as I saw the Fountain Of Dreams broken up and destroyed!

Then he made a black ball appear. "Before you know it, Kirby. I'll have the triumph. Beating me was a mere test. Are you really ready for your ultimate battle? Because the way your 'friends' are acting, it seems like you really aren't at all. Dark Matter, Madame Flix, the Ninjis, they were sent to attack. There was a plan. My, you really are lost. But I could help. Join me." and then I didn't dream of anything, all I saw was blackness.

~End Of Dream~

~Magolor's POV~

"Starla! Can you get me the 6.5 wrench? The stupid gear got loose again." I yell, and I come out from the horrible design, aww, how can I call my Lor horrible? I can't. 

"Here. You honestly shouldn't have all of this, you know? Isn't the game room, play room, oh lord, even a whole room dedicated to when you're BORED, enough?" Starla asked, fidgeting with her hood. 

"No! I must make the Lor the bestest ship in the world!" "She already is 'perfect'. Besides, these wires need rearranging!" Starla peers at the work, disapproving the way I just stuck in random plugs in random sockets.

"She needs more! When I next go to Dreamland, Kirby 'n' his pals, especially Mety must see how much it's improved!" "Who is this 'Meta Knight'? I don't see why you have such a rivalry-" "Meh. Let's just say it wasn't the best plan in my head at the time. Just wanted to take over the universe, you know?" "Typical. That's probably why Hyness tried once you almost succeeded. I wonder why he teamed with the Mage Sisters, I thought Halcandran's were forbidden to go near them." 

"Meh. The Hyness' weren't the brightest. Plus, Halcandrans are mostly dead. There's literally only me, you, Hyness, and a couple others living in secrecy." I shrug. Starla watches as Landia- all four of 'em-  play with each other, and I look at the tangle of wires and laugh nervously, "Maybe I do need to redo this...?" I ask her, and she snorts, "'Bout time you asked!" she says, and starts already.

~Timeskip~

"Hey?" "Yeah?" I ask, finally finished with installing a protect sheild after a stupid Grand Doomer crashed into my precious Lor. Took us four weeks to get her fixed back then. 

"How long has it been since you saw Kirby and his friends?" "Probably a year?" "¬_¬ Magolor." "What?! It has literally been a year and... okay... two months extra!" "As a reward for actually doing something, why don't we go and see them? I want to meet them!" Starla says, and I laugh, "That may be a problem... Kirby and the rest of them are okay with me now, but... Meta Knight isn't at all! He wanted me dead the second he saw my poor Lor Starcutter. He literally went inside without permission to see what the hell I was doing in Dreamland-" "What were you doing there?" 

"Needed some parts 'cause engine busted. I took the smaller spaceship I've got buried somewhere in the storage room. Anyway... I don't think it'd be okay for me to go. Or at least, we'd have to sneak in and out so he doesn't know I exist still." I smile and she gives me a glare, "You guys should've made up ages ago. That's it we're going. Lor Starcutter?! Set a course for Dreamland, Popstar!" 

"Understood. Changing course for Popstar, Castle DDD." "NOT CASTLE DDD LOR! DO WHISPY WOODS!" I screech, and the Lor gives a sigh, "Yes, Captain." "UwU."
