Tobias
To be honest, I dont know what it was about her.
Maybe it was the way her beautiful blue-grey eyes seemed to come to life when she saw all of the animals for the first time.
Maybe it was the way her perfect lips curled into that spectacular smile when I treated her to lunch.
Maybe it was the way her soft rosy cheeks turned slightly darker when I complimented her.
I have never felt this way before. I've been with girls before, but Tris...
Tris gives me a different feeling. I barely know her but she gives me this feeling of completion and love.
I admit though, that I, Tobias Eaton, am afraid of losing her. Just the thought causes a tear to my heart
Tris
We are fate. Two people destined to be together, but this is just the beginning. I am afraid that if I speak my feelings now, I will ruin everything.
There's proof that we are meant to be, like the pulse of electricity when we brush skin. I've heard that you only feel that with one person. There's also those secret smiles with share. It's like cliche highschool love all over again.
"What do you want to do tonight, beautiful?" His voice is so soft, but so deep.
I open my mouth to speak but I'm interrupted by my cellphone ringing.
He makes the go ahead gesture and I answer.
"Hello?"
"Is this Beatrice Prior?"
I cringe at my name, "This is she. Who's this?"
"This is the president of Chicago University. We have been informed by Christina Krivonak about your circumstances. I offer you my condolences. Any who, normally we don't allow this but we are willing to send you your degree, with no, um extra dues. Is that alright?"
"Are you serious? No extra classes?" I smile largely, for the first time in a while.
"I'm quite serious. Good luck to you." And then the conversation is over.
I squeal and jump up and down. When I turn to Tobias, he's glancing at me.
"What's the news?"
"There sending me that stupid paper with my name on it! Because of Chris! I need to see her! Can we go there?"
I was bouncing with excitement.
"Of course, beautiful, but we are going to dinner later."
I nodded and we walked to my house.

I stared at the door. My hands were shaking. I was ready to forgive Chris but was she ready to be forgiven?
"Go ahead, beautiful. I'm going to go but I'll pick you up for dinner at 7. Call me if you need anything." He kissed the side of my head sweetly and walked away.
With a sudden boost of confidence, I opened the door.
"Chris?"
"Tris?"
She ran downstairs, her eyes bloodshot, and her cheeks stained with tears.
"Oh, Chris. I'm sorry."
"What the hell are you sorry for?"
"For making you not look like Christina. You're actually wearing sweatpants." She laughed.
"I got the call from the president of CU. I can't believe you did that for me."
"I'd do anything for you. I'm so so sorry, Tris. I understand if you don't want to forgive me, but please think about it." She whispered.
"I've already forgiven you."
She squealed and threw her arms around me.
"I've got two hours to help you get ready for your date." She said, once again piercing my eardrums.
"Wait, were you eavesdropping?"
"Maybe."
Christina continued to drag me up the stairs, going on and on about different outfits.
She stopped in front of her bedroom door.
"Wait here." And she disappeared into the room.
"Alright, pick an outfit from the bed." She said.
Layed out on her bed, were three outfits. The first out was jeans and a soft knitted red sweater with a scarf with red roses all over and a pair of red Uggs. The second was more me, a baby blue ruffly camisole with a black leather jack and khaki pants with my Dr. Martens.
I didn't bother with the third outfit, just went ahead with the second one.
"I knew you'd pick that one. I want to waterfall your hair, come on."
She did my hair and told me just to put on some eyeliner.
All to soon, the doorbell rang.
I opened the door to find Tobias with a soft orange tulip.
"I uh got this for you." He smiled a cuted shy smile. I stood up on my tippy toes to kiss his cheek.
"Thank you." I whispered, as I watched him blush and scratch the back of his neck.
"Ready?"
I nodded.
He took my hand and lead me to his car.
