Into the Unknown

Countless days and nights passes by as quick like the sand, eroded by the strong gust of winds. And a little soul was lost, lost in the realms in between dreams and reality. Everything looks so real but ain't.

The lost soul of innocent has been wandering here for an eternity since he came here in this realm. Curiosity took over his body, venturing the paradise-like place, until he crashed with a tall woman who is seemingly running.

Mixed feelings of shock and confusion plastered in his face when he saw the woman. She looked like him, but way taller. They are like twins, identical twins.

"Hide!" She yelled in a hurry tone.

Baekhyun could not even response when the woman who really looked like him shoved him in the bushes, at the side of the road.

"Keep your mouth shut" she said, and Baekhyun nodded reluctantly.

Then, ten people, or more likely strange creatures, suddenly appeared, surrounding the woman.

"We will set you free, and will harm you not, in exchange to give me the stone" a man whose half body is only bones and rotten flesh and the other half is a body of a living man.

"I will never let you have the stone, ever!" She exclaimed.

"You'll going to kill me first before you can have the stone" she said, challenging the others.

Stone? What are they talking about? Baekhyun thought to himself, he is curious to know what stone they are talking about, and why is it so important that she won't give it even if it means losing her life. So many questions stuck in his mind right now.

Baekhyun who is watching them from the bushes, stays as silent as he can, covering his mouth in his palm to avoid unnecessary noises. His heart is beating so fast, the nervousness and fear were controlling his body, detecting the danger lurking around.

Then, Baekhyun frowned. Realizing the event that is currently happening, familiarity is the only word that stuck in his head. This event seems had already happened in one of his dreams. But he can't clearly remembers it.

Before the woman could utter another word, a sword was stabbed to her chest making her gasped in pain.

Baekhyun gasped in terror, seeing the horrifying scene in his eyes. He could not believe it, how could someone do such a horrible thing in a woman who is alone and surrounded by ugly and weird looking people.

The half rotten man pulled the sword that was embedded in her chest, and a strange golden object that is glowing in a yellowish color, escaped from the wound of the woman. Floating on the air.

"The stone!" A woman who has a horns on her head, shouts.

The rotten man immediately took an action to grab the so called stone. But the object moved on its own, dodging the hand of the man, as it flew above the sky in a speed of the light.

The woman who was stabbed in the chest, is now dead. Skin, turning into purple as it slowly turning into ashes, swept by the air flow.

The blue eyed prince was frightened by the disturbing scene, it mades his skin quiver in disgust and fright.

"We need to find it, in the realm of the living" The man who wore an armor said, earning a nod from the others, agreeing to his statement. Before they vanished in a blink of an eye, making Baekhyun feel relief.

Baekhyun wondered why this so called stone or whatever it is, is so precious to these weird looking people, that they will take other's life to take this object.

Deigo was practicing archery, he had shoot the target many times but all the arrows missed the bull's-eye. He tried again and again, but it still misses, making him irritated and annoyed.

Selene who is just passing by, saw the annoyed boy who is releasing his anger towards the target practice. She stopped in her way before approaching him.

"What's the matter my favorite nephew?" She spoke grabbing his nephew's attention.

"Oh auntie! You scared me" Deigo replied while holding his chest.

Selene laughed at him, even he is now a big guy, but he is still a scaredy-cat.

"So what's the matter, why you look so stressed?" She asked.

"Nothing" Deigo replied grumpily.

"Oh come on Deigo, I know you very well. You can tell me what is bothering you, you know I will always listened to you whenever you have problems, right?" Deigo nodded.

"So what happened?" She added.

He sighed deeply before speaking up.

"It's... it's... father" he spoke reluctantly.

"What about him?" She asked, knitting her eyebrows together.

"Ugh, I hate him, so much" he said as he let out an irritated growl before shooting the target again.

"Why do you say so? He's still your father, Deigo".

"I know, but... but... *sighed*".

"Remember when I told you about the person I like, aunt Selene?" Selene nodded.

"He's a guy...".

"Ohh?" Selene was surprised, it's not that she doesn't support him. But she didn't expect Deigo to like a guy, because last time if she recalls, Deigo is very fond of petite and cute girls.

"I hope you're not disappointed in me, auntie" he bowed his head, ashamed to face his auntie.

"Of course I'm not, and will never be. Why would I'll be disappointed. Deigo, you did nothing wrong and there's nothing wrong of liking someone, whether if it's a boy or a girl. Love knows no gender. Nephew dear, always remember, I will always love you and support you, okay?" Selene said genuinely, making the boy smile.

Deigo was relieved that his aunt was open minded, and she's able to accept his sexuality that easily, and that made him grateful.

Actually Deigo was a bi, he had liked a boy back then, but things didn't end up pretty well when he was murdered by his own family, because they found out his sexuality. And that leads Deigo to keep his sexuality a secret to his family, he was afraid that he will end up in the same fate with the boy he liked.

But now he felt free after he came out to his aunt, and knowing that she is not against it. His challenge now is how to tell this to his parents, especially to his father who is ruthless.

Deigo told his aunt everything what happened weeks ago, from confessing his feelings towards Baekhyun, to kissing him, and to when Chanyeol popped out from nowhere and dragged Baekhyun away. Since then he never saw Baekhyun again, and that made him being anxious.

Though it's saddening that it happened to him this kind of cruelty. But Selene never leave a praise to his courageous efforts, she never knew that behind the naughty facade of Deigo, was a soft, affectionate, and a loving one.
