The Byun family was poor, they are among the poorest family in their village.

Byun Baekhyun is a 19 year boy, he is the eldest of the three. So the responsibility is slung over his shoulder. His mother was a farmer, and his father was a drunkard.

Poverty pushed him to stopped from his study and reaching his dreams, and continued to help his mother in the farm, to support their daily needs and for the tuition of his siblings. Even though it's hard for him, but he has no other option though.

His father would always come home late and drunk as usual, before giving them a nice beating. Yes, his father is an abusive person.

Because of poverty and his abusive father, Baekhyun was thrown into depression. And his depression pushed him on planning of taking his own life.

Baekhyun stood on the bridge, ready to jump.

Farewell Taehyung, Yeri. I-I will... miss you. Baekhyun thought to himself as tears rolled down to his cheeks.

As he was about to jump off from the bridge, a pair of huge arms snake in his waist preventing him from doing his insanely desire.

"What are you doing you idiot, are you planning to kill yourself?!" A deep velvety voice coming from the person who is gripping Baekhyun, spoke.

"Yah! Let go of me! Let go of me!" Baekhyun yelled in fear and frustration, as his suicidal action was interrupted.

The person then dragged Baekhyun into a safety place, where he could confront him. Baekhyun successfully freed himself from the hold of the mysterious person, before turning around and witnessing his handsome face.

"Are you mad!? You can die right there if you'll going to jump" the handsome man spoke, in a scolding manner.

Baekhyun only stared at him, without uttering any word. He was stunned by this man's captivating aura, and manly beauty.

"What!? Aren't you going to speak, huh? Are you insane, don't you have a family to take care of you!?" The stranger man scolded him.

But the last sentence is like a spear that is stabbed through his chest. Yes, Baekhyun indeed has a family, but for him, it feels like he has nothing. No shoulder to lean on when he is tired, no one there when he cry, no one comforts him when he is sad. For him, it feels like he is alone all this time.
