Chapter 7

The Invasion

After the celebration ended, the Byuns went back to Azure because the king and the queen are quite busy. They have a lot of problems they are facing in their country. Their country may be small, but that doesn't mean they can't have problems.

"What!? Don't believe that prick, Baekhyun!" The eavesdropping Lucas barged in, in Baekhyun's chamber while raising his voice that made Baekhyun, Baekhee and Luhan flinched in surprised.

"What the fuck oppa! You scared the shit out of me! Don't you know how to knock the door first before barging in!?" Baekhee gritted her teeth in annoyance.

Lucas felt a sting on his heart when he heard that Baekhyun and Prince Deigo were having fun together in a private place. He thinks of something dirty, when in the truth is that the two princes were just having some talks, they are friends after all. He gets irritated when he thinks of it, and what he hates the most is that the young Crown Prince Deigo confessed to his little brother that he was cute. It made his blood boil in jealousy and anger.

Lucas blushed at realizing how dumb he was, he forgot that he is eavesdropping them and now he barged in and act as if he has his business on it. He mentally facepalmed because of his foolishness.

"By the way, it's already night, Baekhee and Luhan you should go back to your chamber now. And you too Baekhyun, you should go to your bed and take some rest" he quickly changes the subject to cover up his carelessness, he don't want to get caught.

"What do you need Aquata?" Irene asked while devouring the offerings from the Empress happily, while flapping her beautiful tail back and forth in the water.

"I want answer" Irene quickly stops from eating and averted her attention towards Aquata.

"And what answer do you seek, Aquata?".

"Tell me all about Byun Baekhyun, the White Prince of Azure. Why is he that beautiful, he even stole my title?"

Back then, people used to praised and worshipped Aquata as the goddess of beauty in human form. But now they forgot about her as if she doesn't exist in this world, all because of one person, and that was Baekhyun.

"Why you want to know about him?"

"Why he has so much beauty, why is he more beautiful than me, I know you must've something to do with him?"

"Honey dear, relax, you are still more beautiful than him, you are so old yet your beauty is still undying. I still keep my oath".

"I took an oath to be a loyal worshiper to you, and in exchange you will make me the most beautiful of all creatures, yet you didn't keep your oath. Are you betraying me, Irene?" Aquata said while raising her brows.

"What are you saying, Aquata? I am not betraying you".

"Then why? If you can't keep your promise then you better not took an oath in the first place. All I ever asked to you is to make me the most beautiful creature".

"Aren't you satisfied of what you have, Aquata? You are more beautiful than what you think you are, don't be so ambitious, Aquata. You should be contented with what you have".

"I don't care, I want more. If you can't give what I want, then atleast tell me why that Byun bastard Baekhyun had have what I wanted, I know you're the one who is behind it".

"Are you accusing me, Aquata? I'm sorry but I can't give you answer, yet".

"If you can't, then we better stop this, we will find a new patron deity that will never betray us and stab us in our back" she threatened Irene.
