Harry's POV

I'm still not sure how I ended up so lucky. Draco understands me, he understands my fears and my past. He can tell when I'm overwhelmed by the press or even by my friends, and he always finds a way to calm me down. Being in his presence makes me feel safe, even when I'm afraid. After the game we went back to our dorm and relaxed on our bed. I laid my head on his shoulder and he pulled me closer to him. I loved the warmth that came from his body, it pushed back the cold that threatened to take over the room. It wasn't quite late enough for either of us to be tired so we just sat there, in each other's company. He twirled bits of my hair in his fingers, creating little ringlet curls.

"You know? I kinda liked it when your shirt was off." I said, sliding my hand along his chest, feeling his heartbeat under the fabric.

"Oh did you?" He asked flashing me his best Malfoy smile. "Well I wish I could take it off but my arms are just so tired."

"That's a real shame, maybe I should just take it off for you." I said. He noticed the mischievous glint in my eyes.

"Maybe you might just have to." He replied.

First I took my shirt off, casting is aside, then I slid his shirt off over his head and laid my head against his bare chest. I just wanted to feel close to him, Draco must have understood that because he didn't push for anything. He just held me and let me listen to his heartbeat while he played with my hair and traced figures on my back. It was very calming, his heartbeat was like music. The sound echoed in my head and made everything else seem so quiet. I wasn't sure when I fell asleep but I dreamt about Draco. About his laugh and also about his smile.

Unfortunately, I had classes in the morning so my wonderful dreams were cut short. Although, I must say, being kissed awake is much better than an alarm. I opened my eyes to see Draco, showered and ready for classes. He kissed me gently on the forehead and smiled when he saw me open my eyes.

"Good morning beautiful," he said, his morning voice was deep and made my heart flutter. "Breakfast is in 15 minutes."

"Can't we stay in bed a little longer?" I groaned.

"No my love, we have classes today and you need fuel. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day." He said, smiling.

He grabbed my hands and hauled me out of bed. I got dressed and attempted to tame my curls, but it was pointless. Draco laughed at my frustration.

"Don't worry, your hair looks amazing. It's so fluffy." He said, running his fingers through my curls.

"Speaking of hair, when will you stop putting gel in yours? It's so much sexier when you leave it alone. And I can run my fingers through it easier." I said, ruffling his hair to mess it up.

"Oh? Well if you think it's sexier then I'll think about not gelling it." He laughed, trying to quickly flatten it in the mirror as we left.

We walked down to breakfast, hand in hand, but this time we didn't split up to our different tables. I waved to my friends and shot them an apologetic look before sitting down at the Slytherin table along with Pansy, Blaise, and a boy named Theo.

"Hey Harry. How are you?" Pansy asked, scooping eggs onto her plate.

"Meh, I want to sleep some more but unfortunately I have classes." I grumbled, Draco rubbed sympathetic circles on my back.

"Ha! Same, I hate Mondays." Blaise said, angrily biting his toast.

We all laughed and continued to eat our breakfast, the Slytherin table was a blast. No one came to worship over me or offer to do my homework. Gryffindors all saw me as 'The Boy Who Killed Voldemort' but the Slytherins all saw me as Harry, just Harry. It was a nice change. Draco seemed to love having me there and introduced me to all his old roommates. Breakfast was going great until a group of young Gryffindors walked over to the other end of the table, where the younger Slytherins sat. The younger Slytherins tried to ignore the Gryffindors but the Gryffindors just wouldn't give up.
