AN: So the "i" key on my keyboard isn't working all that well, and I noticed a few typos in the last chapter(and possibly this chapter). I will try and go back and fix all of them but I might miss a few.
Draco's POV
I wasn't sure how long I laid there, fighting to stay awake. I kept hoping Harry would come, but I knew he wouldn't. He wasn't going to look for me, nor should he after what I said. Not to mention I was in an empty corridor in the middle of the day, when everyone would be at class. I wonder how many classes I've missed, did Harry notice? Maybe he would notice and come looking for me, I hoped he still loved me after what I said. If he did, he might just come and find me. If he didn't, I would probably die on this floor.
I finally heard footsteps what had to be a good couple of hours after the attack. They were fast and full of purpose and were with out a doubt, Pansy's. I had know that girl for eighteen years, I would recognize the sound of her footsteps anywhere. I knew she had spotted me when she started running and I heard a scream escape her lips.
"DRACO!" She screamed. I knew she would help me, she always helped me, even when I didn't deserve it.
Pansy, I tried to call out but I couldn't form the words. Pansy hurry, I've lost a lot of blood. At this point I was just hoping she could read my mind.
"Oh Merlin! That's a lot of blood." Pansy gasped as she finally stood next to me.
I felt her lift me into her arms and carry me to the hospital wing. I felt safe then, I figured if anyone could save me it was Madame Pomfrey. So I finally let myself slip into the peaceful state of unconsciousness, despite Pansy's protests for me to stay awake.
Harry's POV
Draco didn't show up to our first class. I was worried, despite being mad at him and despite wanting to punch him in the face. I was still worried. Pansy said he was pretty upset about what he said last night, I was hoping he would apologize at breakfast but he just walked in and then turned around and walked out. He needed to be the one to approach me, I wasn't going to demand an apology and an explanation for what the hell was going threw his head.
By the time lunch came around, Draco still hadn't made another appearance. Pansy left after our third class and said she was going to go talk to him. It was becoming a rather long talk. Hermione rubbed circles on my back as I slowly picked at my sandwich. I could feel eyes watching me and I could pick out several students from different houses that were staring at me. None of them met my gaze but the second I looked away I could feel their eyes on me again. Mr. Filch came in, running, and whispered something in McGonagall's ear. She suddenly stood up from her table when he did. She looked at me and knew right then something was wrong. I stood up and ran out of the room. McGonagall met me outside the hall and placed a hand on my shoulder.
"Potter, please follow me." She said softly.
There were tears pooling in my eyes but I wouldn't let them fall unless I knew what had happened to him. Unfortunately, they pushed their way out the second I saw Pansy, sitting on the floor outside the hospital wing, covered in blood and sobbing uncontrollably. She stood up when she saw me and pulled me into a tight hug as McGonagall entered the hospital wing.
"What happened? Is he ok? Will he be ok? Pansy please Merlin answer me!" I pleased.
"I-I don't know what happened. I found him in a corridor bleeding on the floor. He was awake when I found him but went unconscious when I brought him here." Pansy explained.
I moved past her and pushed the doors to the hospital wing open. Madame Pomfrey saw me come in and immediately led me to where McGonagall was standing, I was thankful she didn't try and protest. Draco was lying unconscious on the bed, several deep cuts on his body and so many bruises all over his torso, legs, and arms. As Madame Pomfrey ran her wand over him, the bruises began to fade and the cuts were closing. When he looked relatively healed she turned to me and McGonagall.
