Draco's POV

How did I find my self in this position? Merlin I'm so pathetic, why didn't I just fight back? Harry would have fought back. Where is Harry? I need him... oh, wow the world is moving so fast and I can see so many colors. So pretty. Ouch... my side hurts and my hip and my knees and my hands, and especially my chest. Really everywhere hurts, actually, if I'm trying to pinpoint all the pain, its coming from everywhere. Oh, darn all the pretty colors are mushing together, now its just all red. Why is there so much red? So much red, where is it all coming from. Oh, my side is sticky, maybe that's where all the red is coming from. I never really have like the color red, green was always my favorite. Green like Harry's eyes. Harry... is he going to be here soon? No, he's mad at me, he's not coming. No one's coming, I don't deserve help. I deserve the darkness that's creeping its way into my vision. I deserve the pain. I deserve it all.

*48 Hours Earlier*

Once the clock chimed for the end of the day I followed my new daily routine and headed for my table in the library. It was positioned right under a large window and had plenty of light, it was also near the back so not many people would bug me. I studied here everyday after classes, Hermione or Pansy or both would join me usually. And occasionally my boyfriend would take a break from his procrastinating and come work for an hour before getting bored out of his mind and either leave to go hang out with Blaise and Ron or drag me to our dorm to snog or, when he's super needy, shag. I could protest against being taken from my work but I knew I studied a lot and I knew he needed the attention(I did not forget the incident two weeks ago when he ignored me for an entire day because I ignored his sexual needs).

I was halfway into my charms paper when Harry decided to make an appearance. He gave me a quick kiss on the cheek before taking the seat opposite of me and pulled out his work. I blinked in surprise as he began using his notes, occasionally comparing them with mine, to write his own charms paper. No complaints, no begging me to take a break, no staring at me until I finally stop working. He looked up from his paper and noticed me staring at hm.

"What's up?" He asked, twirling his quill on his fingers.

"Oh, nothing, it's just... are you ok?" I questioned.

"Ya, I'm fine. I just feel particularly motivated today." He said, pointing to his paper.

"I see. Ok then." I replied with a smile before he got back to work.

I was thoroughly surprised, and impressed, that he actually finished his charms paper and his herbology plant identification work all within the time he usually spends bored out of his mind. Hermione had arrived shortly after Harry and Pansy, an hour after that. The four of us sat working and occasionally passing papers around for each other to revise and comparing notes. t was hands down the most productive study period I'd had all year, even before Harry and I were together, that boy still found ways to distract me from my work. Don't get me wrong, they were usually fun distractions: picnics, dates to Hogsmeade, reading dates(apparently he likes to lay on me and read), snogging, and flying around on the pitch. I smiled softly to myself thinking about it, in fact I was still smiling when I went to bed that night, curled up with Harry.

I woke up the next day in a spectacular mood, completely unaware of what had happened the previous night. Well, I was completely unaware until breakfast that is. Until all the owls came in carrying not only letters and packages to students, but also the latest edition of the Daily Prophet. One of the papers landed on the plate in front of me, I unrolled it and stopped breathing for a minute.

Known Death Eater Lucius Malfoy is sent to Azkaban.

Lucius Malfoy's trials concluded last night and he was given a life sentence in Azkaban. His case was reopened by the Ministry after new evidence was released by an anonymous source. Lucius was a known follower of Voldemort and was charged with the crimes of torturing and murdering innocent witches, wizards, and muggles. Along with the charges in aiding and supporting a known enemy of the Ministry and participating in the Battle of Hogwarts last year along side Voldemort. After the sentencing of Lucius, the new question that has risen is: what about his son? Draco Lucius Malfoy was put on trial last year after the war and was found not guilty and had all charges dropped thanks to the testimony of several of his classmates and teachers, including our savior Harry Potter. However, Lucius was also found not guilty at his first trial, will new evidence come to light that may suggest his son Draco may have been more involved in the war than was previously decided?
