Out at sea, about three days (dragon flight) from Berk

Hra'Hish was close to his goal in terms of how much longer before he arrives. He would be there in about two days. He was speeding far ahead of the storm, hiding in the dark clouds in the night sky. He was halfway through another lap of his routine: flying in the storm to charge up before letting himself go and zipping about. He is the fastest. He knows it. None of the inferior weaklings could match him. Not even Tene'Car. He was more than happy the young dragon vanished. That pest was immature, annoying and rebellious. He made a promise to himself that if he sees the dragon alive, he will kill him. Unbeknownst to him, he was being watched by a four winged dragon. And it's rider.

Next morning, at Berk, the Kill ring

The recruits were all gathered in the Kill ring, put into four pairs: Hiccup and Fishlegs, Astrid and Ruffnut, Snotlout and Tuffnut and Dogsbreath and Ulfhild. On the outside, Gobber and Stronglout (who was added as an assistant to the training) were watching in the ring while Spitelout unlocked the cage. He quickly made it to the gate, where he stood to keep an eye on the recruits and escort the eliminated ones out. They each had a bucket of water and a small sidearm: Astrid had a hatchet, Hiccup had his dagger, the twins both had double daggers, Snotlout had a bludgeon (the one from Riders of Berk, when he tries a sneak attack on Alvin), Ulfhild has a throwing axe and a long knife, Fishlegs had his usual hammer and Dogsbreath had a shortsword. There was a green mist coming from inside the cage, where the Zippleback was getting ready to come out.

Barf:"Ready to make an entrance, Bur (Fire)?"

Belch:"Damn right, Shash (Haze)!"

Barf:"Then let's blow this hole!"

BOOOM!

The cage doors burst open with an explosion, and a wave of green mist filled the arena. The teens soon ended up in different places, unable to see more than five feet in front of them.

Dogsbreath:"Oh, boy. Oh, oh great. A Zippleback. Just wonderful. Fuck us all."

Ulfhild:"Sarcasm?"

Dogsbreath:"Some of it."

Suddenly, a tail came out from the mist at around waist height. The two got knocked into a wall, their buckets flying far away to the other side. Ulfhild landed rather awkwardly and busted her forehead open on the wall while Dogsbreath, being launched in the same direction, crashed into her, crushing her into the wall.

Ulfhild:"OOWWW!"

Spitelout:"Ulfhild, Dogsbreath, I'm guessing you're out. To me, now!"

With two people out already, Gobber was starting to regret letting them at the Zippleback so soon. He thought back to the day before the training, when he told himself the dragon was too smart. And all that's happened so far proves it. Creating a smoke screen, leaving itself impossible to find. Attacking with it's tail, to avoid the main purpose of the excersise: put it out of fire. It took the kids down two at a time instead of charging and attacking all of them. This Zippleback was different. Much like the Changewing was far more violent and aggressive than others of it's kind, this Zippleback was easily the smartest dragon Gobber had ever laid his eyes on.

Gobber:"The Zippleback is tricky. Two heads, two jaws coming at you. One head spits out a highly volatile gas, the other blows it up. Figure out, which is which, and put it out."

In the arena, only three pairs were remaining.

Snotlout:"Tuff, I don't like this. If I fight a dragon, I should be able to see it."

Tuffnut:"Ah, I like it. Few people appreciate the fine stealth of the Zippleba-OVER THERE!"

Snotlout turns around, seeing two shapes, one of which had a set of gnarly horns. Without hesitation, the two threw the water at the two shapes. As the water flew through the air, it washed away the mist in it's path, revealing...
