" I promised myself I wouldn't cry." Niall says.

" Dad, we haven't even left the house yet." Drew says.

The family plus Sage was sitting in the car waiting to drop Drew off at college. The car was packed with everything Drew needed. He was going to the same college Liam and Niall went to. Liam was waiting for Niall to gather himself before starting the drive.

" I'm sorry. I can handle this." Niall says.

" Are you good Ni?" Liam asks.

" I don't know." Niall says.

" Well, you have about an hour to contain yourself." Liam says.

" Okay, I can do this." Niall reassures. Liam pulls out of the driveway and starts the drive to the college.

" Dada." Melody pouts.

" What Melody?" Niall asks.

" Out." Melody pouts.

" No Melody, you can't get out of your buggy. We'll be there soon." Niall says.

" No." Melody says.

" I know you don't like it, but it won't last that long princess." Niall says.

" I'll keep her busy dad." Brendon says. Brendon starts talking with Melody.

Niall looks at Liam," You know, I'm glad DJ is going to the same uni we went to."

" Why do you say that?" Liam asks.

" Because it'll bring back some good memories when we visit him. Like when we first started talking." Niall says.

" Oh hell no. You are not randomly visiting me." Drew says.

" Hey when we want to come see you, we'll come see you." Niall says.

" And if you're on the football team, we would love to come to your games. We are alumni after all." Liam says.

" Fine, but no unannounced visits." Drew says.

" I guess that's okay." Niall says.

After an hour drive, the family made it to the college. Drew stared at everything in awe. He was so excited to start his uni life.

Niall and Liam just smiled when they drove through campus. Memories from when they were in college filled their minds.

" Alright DJ, where do we go?" Liam asks.

" Uh, I think I have to go to my resident hall." Drew says. Liam drives to where Drew was going to live for the year. Other students and parents were moving students in to the dorms. Liam parks the car. Niall looks at Drew.

" Go find out what we need to do." Niall says. Drew nods his head. Drew gets out of the car. Melody lets out a whine.

" What's up Melody?" Liam asks.

" Out." Melody whines.

" I guess we can start stretching our legs." Liam says. Niall and Liam get out of the car. Niall unhooks Melody from her buggy. Niall looks at Brendon and Sage still in the car.

" You'll be fine here?" Niall asks.

" Dad, you don't need to worry about us." Brendon says. Niall nods his head. He places Melody on the ground.

" Melody, you need to stay by me or papa okay?" Niall says. Melody nods her head. She runs near a patch of grass. Niall lets out a sigh and chases after her.

Drew walks back to the car. Liam looks at him.

" What are we doing?" Liam asks.

" We can put my stuff in my room. I have my room key and there's stuff planned for later today." Drew says. Liam unlocks the trunk and Drew starts to grab some things.
