" Boys and Sage! Come down here please!" Liam calls up the stairs. He looks at Niall who was fixing Melody into her pram.

Drew, Brendon, and Sage come down the stairs. They stand on the stairs and stare at Niall and Liam.

" What's up?" Brendon asks.

" So we know Sage is Brendon's friend so she's allowed in your room. But Sage is also dating DJ which means-"

" Ignore him. The point is we need you three down here and not in your bedroom. DJ and Sage, you are not allowed in their room when we're gone." Niall says, cutting off Liam.

" That's disgusting they would do that with me under the same roof." Brendon says.

" Oh we don't do it at all so shut up Brendon." Drew says.

" That seems like a lie to me." Brendon says.

The boys were about to start bickering when Sage cuts them off, " Anyway!" She looks at Niall and Liam," I promise we will stay down here and nothing will go on. What are you up to?"

" It's a nice day so we thought Melody could go on a walk." Niall says.

" That sounds great." Sage says.

" We're just going around the block. Call us if you need anything." Liam says.

" We will." The three teenagers say at the same time. Liam opens the front door and Niall pushes the pram out of the house.

" Bye Melody!" The three teenagers call after the 6-month-old baby. They hear her giggle. Liam looks at them.

" Please, best behavior." Liam says.

" We will, now get outta here pa! We're basically adults here!" Drew says. Liam gives him an evil eye, but doesn't bother with it. He walks out the front, closing the door behind him. He catches up with Niall who was at the end of the driveway already. Once the parents are together, Niall starts pushing the pram and start their walk.

" We should do this more often." Liam says.

" When we both have time, yeah we can do it." Niall says. Liam looks in the pram at Melody.

" Are you having a good time princess?" Liam asks. Melody smiles up at him and babbles something. Liam smiles at her and looks back at Niall.

" See, she's having a wonderful time." Liam says.

" And I'm glad she is." Niall says.

The couple have a nice walk around the block. They could tell Melody was enjoying it too because she was constantly babbling in her pram.

When the couple got back home, they saw a strange car sitting in front of their house. Niall looks at Liam.

" Do you know whose car that is?" Niall asks.

" No, but I can tell they're still sitting in their car. Let's get you and Melody in the house." Liam says. Liam quickly gets Niall and Melody in the house. They close the door behind them and lock it. The three teenagers stare at the parents weird.

" Why'd you lock the door?" Drew asks. Niall unlatches Melody from the pram. He puts her near her play area. Liam looks at the kids.

" There's a strange car sitting outside our house. I don't like the look of it." Liam says. Brendon stands up from the couch and looks out the front window. Niall pulls him away.

" Brendon! Don't look outside please!" Niall scolds. Brendon sits next to Melody and Niall on the floor. Melody shakes one of her toys at Brendon.

" I just wanted to see the car." Brendon mumbles.

" You don't know anything about cars so shut up." Drew says.

" Well, I know that's Matt's uncle's car so ha!" Brendon says. Melody tries to mimic Brendon's 'ha'.

" Wait, it is?" Niall asks. Brendon nods his head. Liam starts to unlock the front door.

" Liam, what do you think you're doing?" Niall asks.

" I'm gonna tell that piece of shit a piece of my mind." Liam says.

" Don't you dare do that Liam." Niall says.

" What else is there for me to do? The police won't do anything because he hasn't threatened us yet. I have my three kids, my best friend's daughter, and my husband here. I can't have us living in fear. If I don't scare him away, he'll continue to come back and maybe harm you. I can't lose you again." Liam says. Everyone in the room was at a loss of words. So with that, Liam walked out the front door and right up to the car. The family watch from the front window.

" I didn't know pa had that in him." Drew says.

" I'm afraid papa talking to Jace isn't going to be good." Niall says.

" Maybe it'll help?" Brendon suggests.

" I don't know Bren." Niall says. Liam finishes talking to Jace and the car drives off. Liam walks back into the house and closes the front door. Everyone looks at Liam, waiting for an answer to come out of his mouth. Melody ruins the moment by rattling her toy.

" So, what happened?" Niall asks.

" Lets just say I scared the shit out of him. I don't think he's coming back." Liam says. Niall jumps up and runs to Liam. He throws his arms around Liam in a big hug.

" Thank you Li." Niall says. Liam kisses the top of his head.

" You're welcome Ni." Liam says. Niall releases from the hug and looks at Liam.

" So what did you say exactly?" Niall asks. Liam lets out a chuckle.

" Oh, I can't say now. There's children in the room." Liam says.

" Hey, I'm basically an adult." Drew says.

" Hun, I think he meant Melody." Sage says, mentioning towards the baby. Melody had a toy in her mouth, but still smiled when everyone looked at her.

" Yeah, I meant Melody." Liam says.

" I knew that." Drew scoffs.

" Anyway, do you guys want some lunch?" Niall asks the kids.

" Nah, we had something when you guys were gone." Drew says. Niall nods his head.

Everyone sat around and watched tv for the rest of the day. Niall was glad to be safe with his family.

I was expecting to write something different with the whole Jace thing, but I wasn't feeling it. I lowkey just want to be done with this story now, but I still have a long while till the ending I'm thinking.

I finished my other story (Daddy Long Legs Narry au) so I'm going to be focused on this story until I end this one.

Anyway, it's been a while so how y'all doing?

My birthday is coming up (February 10th) and I'm so excited. I turn 21 so I can legally drink the in United States. I would like to update before then, but that's in like three days so I just wanted to share with you guys if I didn't get the chance.

I don't think I have anything else to say so.....
