Brendon was in his room, snapchatting Matt. It's been a couple days since the party and the two are non stop talking. Brendon wouldn't have it any other way.

Matty ❤️

Matty ❤️ - Hey can I come hang out at your place?

Brendon looks at the message with his eyebrows furrowed. He did not want his parents to meet Matt. And besides, there's nothing really to do at his house because of the fact that it's so small.

Bren 💅🏻 - Are you sure? There's nothing really to do......

Matty ❤️ - of course I'm sure! Just being near you is enough for me!

Brendon smiles at the last message. He loves when Matt makes him smile. He let Matt know that he was gonna ask his parents.

Brendon walks downstairs to the living room to see his parents watching tv. But they weren't really watching, they were looking at Niall's bump.

" Hey, I was wondering if I could have a friend over?" Brendon says. The parents look at their youngest son.

" Don't you mean Sage?" Niall asks.

Brendon shakes his head," No. It's a friend you haven't met yet."

" Are they more than a friend?" Niall asks, raising an eyebrow.

" Nope. Just a friend." Brendon says. Friends for now, at least. Niall and Liam look at each other. Then they look back at their son.

" We get to meet them." Niall says.

" I mean, that's what I planned on anyway. There's no where to go in this house to hang out, so." Brendon says.

" What time do they plan on coming over?" Liam asks.

" Probably in a couple minutes. I'm gonna let him know that you're okay with it." Brendon says. He walks back upstairs. He grabs his phone and sends a message to Matt about him coming over.

Matty ❤️ - cool! I'll be over in a couple minutes

Brendon walks backs downstairs and sits on the couch opposite of his parents. They both look at him.

" Is he coming over?" Liam asks. Brendon nods his head. The two focus back on Niall's 26 week stomach.

" Is Melody okay?" Brendon asks.

" Yeah, she's okay. She's just cramping up." Niall says. Brendon nods his head. He wants to make sure both of them are okay.

Brendon focuses on the tv. He just wanted to pass the time because he can't wait to hang out with Matt.

A couple minutes later, Brendon's phone vibrates and the doorbell rings. Brendon was quick to jump up from the couch to grab the door, already knowing it was Matt. He didn't want his parents getting the door. He's glad Niall was pregnant.

" Hey no fair! I'm pregnant!" Niall calls from the couch. Brendon lets out a laugh and opens the door. Standing at the door was a smiling Matt.

" Hi Matt." Brendon says.

" Hello Brendon." Matt says. Brendon lets Matt in. They walk to the living room where Liam and Niall were still seated.

" Dad and papa, this is my friend Matt," Brendon says towards his parents. He looks at Matt," Matt, this is my dad and papa." He points to each parent.

" Hello Mr. and Mr. Payne. It's truly a pleasure to meet both of you." Matt says.

" Since there's no where else to go in this house, we're stuck down here with these guys." Brendon says. He walks to the other couch and sits down. Matt sits down next to Brendon.

" We can go upstairs." Liam says.

" Hell no. My feet are killing me. I'm not moving." Niall says. Matt lets out a laugh.

" You're funny Mr. Payne." Matt says," How far are you along?"

" I'm 26 weeks." Niall says.

" Wow! So only a couple more weeks to go! Are you excited for the baby?" Matt says. Niall smiles. He liked this boy for Brendon already.

" Oh yeah. The whole family is. We can't wait for her to come into the world." Niall says.

" I bet it's really exciting." Matt says.

" So, are you okay with watching tv? We can put on a movie." Brendon suggests.

" A movie sounds good. But I'm okay doing anything with you as long as I'm spending time with you." Matt says. Liam and Niall look at each other surprised. This boy really did like Brendon.

Brendon tried to hide his blush. He didn't want his parents seeing him get all flustered. He looks at his parents.

" Can you guys turn on a movie please?" Brendon asks. Liam grabs the remote and starts flipping through.

" Just tell me when to stop." Liam says. Eventually Brendon found a movie he liked and told Liam to stop. Liam put the remote down and looked at the two kids.

" Do you guys want popcorn?" Liam asks.

" Yes please." Matt says.

" Can I have popcorn too Li?" Niall asks, pouting his lip out. Liam presses his lips to Niall's pout. He breaks apart.

" Of course." Liam says. He stands up from the couch and walks to the kitchen. Niall looks at the two boys opposite of him. They were in a deep conversation with one another. Niall smiles. He saw that this boy cared for Brendon, and that's what Brendon needs.

Niall lifts himself off the couch and walks to the kitchen. He found Liam leaning up against the counter, waiting for popcorn to pop. Niall walks up to Liam. Liam smirks.

" I thought you didn't want to move." Liam says. Niall rolls his eyes.

" Don't sass me. I just wanted to tell you something." Niall says.

" If it's about Brendon and Matt, I can see it too. He really cares for Brendon." Liam says.

" And I thought you were dumb." Niall says. Liam pouts his lip out.

" I'm not dumb." Liam pouts. Niall quickly kisses Liam.

" You are sometimes, but I still love you." Niall says.

" I love you more Ni." Liam says. From the living room, Brendon let out a loud laugh. The parents smile at each other.

" I really think Matt is going to be good for Brendon. He might be the one person to get Brendon out of his funk." Niall says.

" I agree." Liam says. The popcorn finishing popping. Liam grabs the popcorn and pours it into two bowls. He hands one bowl to Niall, who looked like he was in pain. Liam gives him a weird look.

" You good Ni? Melody okay?" Liam asks. Niall lets out a sigh.

" I'm just cramping. It's Braxton Hicks. I'll be fine." Niall says.

" Okay. If you need something we can go see Doctor Long. Remember, your body isn't supposed to have babies so we need to take extra caution." Liam says. Niall stands straight up. He kisses Liam's cheek.

" I'll be fine for now. Thank you for taking care of me Li." Niall says.

" That's what I do for my husband." Liam says. The two walk back to the living room. Liam hands Brendon and Matt the popcorn bowl as Niall sits back down. Liam sits back down next to Niall.

The four watched the movie in silence, but it was a good silence. They were all just happy to be with one another.
