Capricorn hummed as the handcuffs were cuffed around his wrists and he was brought out of his holding cell.

It was always the same procedure.

It was rare of him to get caught, but when he is, he knew he would be interrogated,  put into the holding cell, and then be sentenced to be in jail for a year. Then he will proceed to break out of jail and promptly leave without a trace.

He has done this way too many times by himself.

But...

This time he had Scorpio.

When Capricorn first met Scorpio, he was intrigued by the man. He was a small criminal, beginning at age sixteen, with a record for stealing copious amounts of money from stores and once from a bank. His first time getting caught was at the bank.

All he really did was steal 1K from that place, and it landed him in jail for two years since he was just a minor at that time.

Pity they let him go.

Snapping back to reality due to the jingling and clinking of the handcuffs on his wrists- wait a second. Why are they called handcuffs? They don't even reach your hands. They just tie your wrists together, so shouldn't they be called wristcuffs? But then it'll be like calling those fancy, frilly, Victorian Era-

Capricorn's ramble in his head came to a sudden stop when the male officer nudged him roughly in the shoulder.

"Get a move on." He grunted gruffly, "The chief doesn't have all day."

"Huh?"

Confusion, plus a little bit of shock, seeped into his eyes as he looked at the officer.

"Why would the chief want to see me? Aren't I supposed to go to court?"

The officer only huffed, and continued to lead Capricorn away from the holding cells.

A million thoughts raced through Capricorn's mind, mainly of which law required the prisoner to meet up with the chief.

None came up, and before he knew it, he was standing in front of a seemingly large oak door. Nervousness flitted through his eyes as the officer, who he still doesn't know the name of, rapped his knuckles three times against the hard surface.

A soft "Come in!" sounded through the door and Capricorn was pushed, not exactly roughly but not exactly comfortably either, into the office room.

Oddly enough, the first thing he noticed when the door shut behind him, leaving him alone in the room with the police chief, was how nice the office smelled. Like coffee. Capricorn really liked coffee. And then he noticed the vibrant red of the young chief's hair.

"You must be Capricorn Zemilaa, nice to meet you."

Capricorn blinked and his jaw almost dropped.

He knew he was young, but no one told him he was THIS young?!

This chapter is so short oop-

Not very satisfied with this chapter, but it is what it is.
