Scorpio groaned as blinging sunlight filtered into his cell from a rectangular window. He hated mornings. Especially if he was in arrested and in a stupid cell. Being in police custody wasn't all that new or bad to him. But the past few times he's been arrested was when he was alone. Now there was a specifically annoying humanized screeching goat in the cell in front of him.

"Scorps. Hey Scorps! Scoooorps!"

Scorpio growled quietly in annoyance as he continued to shut his eyes against the steadily blinding light. He attempted to smother his face into the thin, rock hard pillow that was ever so kindly provided in the cell. Like, what the h*** are these things made out of? Compacted sand? And only a couple more minutes would do nicely. But the noise just. Won't. STOP.

"Scorps! Scorpyyyy! Scor-"

"WHAT in the fu***ing h*ll are you yapping about!" he snapped, opening his eyes only to glare intensely at the brunette through the bars, a growl ripping from his throat.

In the cell in front of him, emerald eyes peeked through the bars of the cell.

"I just wanted to say hi and good morning!" Capricorn chirped, grinning widely at the displeased look on Scorpio's face. Capricorn knew that Scorpio had spent all night thinking of a plan to escape this cell, so he decided to be a nuisance and annoy him in the morning. He was positively beaming at the wholesome friendship he had with his bestie.

Scorpio, being the grumpy "old" man he was, gave Capricorn his weakest death glare, flipped him off, and promptly shoveled his face as much as he could into the pillow. What a thick skull he has.

"TEN MINUTES UNTIL BREAKFAST WILL BE SERVED!"

Scorpio's deadpan and emotionless face will be something Capricorn will treasure for years.

The afternoon sun filtered in through the drawn curtains as Gemini glanced at her watch for the fifteenth time in thirty minutes. Virgo has been in her office for a very long time.

At least the reports were keeping her busy.

Sipping her coffee, a macchiato, and absolutely nothing to do other than await for Virgo's safety, Gemini scanned through the most recent news.

The coffee was extra delicious today. Probably because she had stayed up all night until eleven comforting Aquarius about something that she didn't know about, but it had upsetted Aquarius greatly.

She hoped it wasn't anything too big.

Her mouse clicked through the news articles, scanning through each title for something that will catch her attention.

Two robbers arrested for stealing 1K from bank, Celebrity Draco declares his engagement to Singer Columba, Billionaire Ophiuchus announces New Product Coming Out,  Building on Rosawest Road Will Be Taken Down: People Nearby Claim A Ghost is Haunting that Building, Is the New Game really Helping Kids?

Nothing interesting.

Huh.

But..something feels...

...off about some of these articles.

I guess this chapter is kind of just a filler on what's been going on with our two troublemakers.

Edit: Hey guys! I have just kind of altered the ending of this chapter to match up with the rewrite for chapter one.
