WARNING! Mentions of blood and murder in this chapter. If this makes you uncomfortable, please skip this chapter. When chapter five comes out, I will provide an overall summary of this chapter so you won't miss out on Pisces's entrance. :)

Rotting floorboards creaked and groaned under the weight of the man in a construction uniform. The neon yellow on his vest and helmet contrasted greatly against the dark shadows of the abandoned apartment building. Rusted number plates nestled against each wall, next to each worn-down door. 401, 402, 403, 404.

Tap.

Tap.

Permanently dyed teeth, due to the years of smoking and chewing tobacco, glinted slightly from the sliver of moonlight shining behind him. A chipping and rotting door with a knob barely working stood in front of him. 415 was barely readable, but still there on the number plate.

Three knocks, pause. Two knocks, wait five seconds. One knock.

A shuffle, barely audible, came from behind the door. But the man heard it against the still night. The moon shone innocently behind him.

Swing the door open.

Layers upon layers of dust and grime rested on the floor and furniture. Spiders crawled in the crevices in the small hallway, avoiding the sudden light filtering from the doorway. The man took one step into the room and stopped. All was silent.

"I'm here for the payment." He called out, voice echoing through all six floors of the building.

One second passed, two seconds passed, three seconds passed.

A suitcase thumped down in front of the man, the dust fluttering up in a cloud, causing a mighty sneeze to come out. By the time he looked up, no one was above him. No marks were left behind to show that anyone was on the stained ceiling in the first place.

Cautious steps leaned towards the black leather case.

Nothing happened. A debate flashed through his head. Neon yellow flashed as he lunged towards the case, hands outstretched in greed. He knew he should've brought it to his boss. He knew he shouldn't have tried and opened the case. He knew this. And lastly, he also knew that Pisces is always watching.

A swish and a stab was all it took.

Padded footsteps stepped towards the bleeding man. A knife was buried in his back, a clean slice in the abdomen. Dark red oozing and soaking the neon yellow of his outfit.

"Such a shame." A young man's voice drawled, slightly static from the voice changer on his mask. Piercing blue eyes almost glowed against the silver light of the moon coming in from the open door. A giggle echoed around the walls. Dilated pupils gazed at the dying man in front of him.

"Your boss would've been soooo happy," his words slurred, and maniacal eyes whipped around the crime scene. One hard toed boot slammed into the hilt of the small dagger, driving it clean through the man's stomach into the dust lines floor. Chips of wood fell from the ceiling. The syrupy substance of blood spread even faster on the filth covered ground. Coughs of gurgling liquid bubbled up the man's throat, choking his lungs, spilling past his lips.

Pisces grinned, taking the scene of murder all in, enjoying the twitching man lying, dying, on the ground.

Then with a swish of air, he disappeared.

To be honest, this chapter is terrible. I never knew writing murder was so hard. I swear, the future chapters will be a lot better.
