Body Found in Abandoned Apartment- Local Police Confirms Pisces is Back

Body Discovered with Pisces' Knife Buried In Abdomen

Is Pisces Back? One victim found in Abandoned Building

Nimble and slim fingers danced across the keyboard. It's been three months. Three months since the last kill. Why weren't there any deaths during the past three months? Why did Pisces break his pattern? Was he planning something big? Why would he come back now?

The bright white light of the computer screen reflected onto the man's pale face as his concentration were placed entirely on the recent articles trending from two seconds to one hour ago.

"Hey Cancer, I got you some food."

Without looking up, the Forensic Psychologist nodded a thanks towards the blue haired woman and continued to research. He knew that Aquarius' older sister had been one of the victims of Pisces, and the knowing the news that he was not gone and was in fact back, well, was definitely going to bring up some of the depression and grief Aquarius had had after her death. But Aquarius didn't cry at the funeral of Aquila. She had claimed it was a sign of weakness and she had to stay strong for her sister.

For her murdered sister, Aquarius wallowed up all her pain and buried them deep in her heart. No matter how many medications Aquarius made, none could heal her mental pain.

A lengthy silence lapsed between the two, the only sounds were constant clicking emitting from Cancer.

As Aquarius watched article after article flash by the screen, her felt eyes start to brim and grow wet.

No. No tears. Tears were a sign of weakness. Tears were for babies.

Cancer peeked up and paused with his research when he saw the same pain-filled face he saw at the funeral. He may look like a stoic and emotionless man, but he still felt a pang in his heart at the mental state of Aquarius. She shouldn't be doing this to herself.

"You know Aqua," Cancer began softly, eyes still trained on the slew of glowing words, "what is your honest opinion on crying?" Fingers clacked softly now as the black-haired man waited for her answer.

"W-what?" Aquarius broke out of her thoughts. "I-I," she cleared her throat and unconsciously dragged a sleeve across her eyes. "I truly believe that crying is a sign of weakness."

"And why is that? You didn't think that before didn't you?"

"I-i," Aquarius began as she clenched her fists, cursing at herself for stuttering. "A-aren't you supposed to be researching P-P-Pisc-ces?"

Cancer hummed. "I suppose I am supposed to."

Silence lapsed once more between the two. Cancer stopped typing.

"Aquarius."

"Yes?"

"I think tears are a way of letting go of the pain."

"O-oh, why do you think that?"

"Because you are already a strong person Aquarius, and I know Aquila knows too."

"..."

"Y-yeah. Thanks, Cancer."

Cancer frowned, his gaze turning away from the illuminated screen and onto the pained woman beside him. He clenched his teeth. Mission failed for now. His eyes turned away, letting go for just a second. As he scanned through more titles and news websites, a particular website caught his eye. A feral smirk decorated his face and he grabbed his phone and dialed the police quietly.

"Hello Cancer sir, how may I help you?"

"I think I may have found the perfect evidence for the investigation. Bring in Libra. She'll want to see this."

Flickering lights illuminated the snowy white walls, all evidence wiped from them years ago. The area wasn't too dim, a couple glints sparkled here and there, and no cracks were seen anywhere. Quartz does it job well.

It was supposed to be a loyalty and speed mission. Grab the suitcase. Bring it back. Earn a place in the lower rankings.

Seems like he failed.

New and loyal recruits are always so hard to find.

At least he knows where his oh-so-precious little brother is hiding.

Perfect white teeth glinted against the computer's glare.

Now that the hard step is over, they can move onto the easier steps.

Big brother is going to come save you Pisces.

Oof-

This is the most amount of secrets I have revealed in one chapter. I think I will start writing ships in chapter nine or ten. I don't know if I will keep writing the story in this third-person character form, but I guess we'll see in future chapters. Thank you for reading!

Edit: Oof, it pains me to do this to a 2020 piece, but I changed the ending a bit. Thought the story was continuing a bit too quickly...
